Guys, I'm NOT happy at halftime. Denver was atrocious offensively. I'm afraid they'll come out storming in the second half. TheSpurs need the same mentality. Tim, Manu and Tony need to remember that clinching game six in LA in 2003 when they sent Shaq and Kobe to the bench with 5 minutes left in that game.

The defense was WAY tighter in the second half - they need to keep that up and make that happen. The offense had started to flow, they need to maintain that momentum and not come out flat. MUST be aggressive on both ends - see what a difference rebounding makes???

Manu finally came to play for once in a first half. The Spurs seem to not be able to start games off well. If it continues, I say start Ginobili. Bring him out, put him back in, then bring him out so we can have him in for 3 different stretches of time instead of only 2 per half.
He hasn't played much because he's a big defensive liability in this series as he cannot defend on Melo or Iverson!
He's invisible out there, no presence whatsoever.
He hasn't been playing well lately at all. His mpg have definitely been below what they were during the regular season.
Well some things first, Ginobili's agressiveness is where it should be, props to a fantastic half for Manu.
Parker was ok, a few too many jumpers, but if your open and in rythum gotta take em.

98% of Denver's futility in this game has been due to the Spurs defense. They are challenging every shot since Elson left the floor and are giving up nothing easy inside. I think Iverson and Anthony are starting to fatigue from all the minutes logged, and the Spurs defense is really making them work just to get off a shot. If that keeps up in the 2nd half - this game should be just fine.
Well he sucks at defense. He really doesn't match up with anyone on the Nuggets.
A lot of shooting fouls going against the Spurs. Eight fouls to seven for DEnver yet they have been to the stripe 13 times to our four. A three point is better than nothing, but Pop will still lash into his team for shooting 40% and letting these guys hang around. It could be worse, you could be that blue clad team riding cable cars now.
Or JR Smith, and probably not Steve Blake either.

This is Spurs Basketball. They aren't going to blow Denver out in game 3. They have to rely on their experience and execution in the fourth.
