Argentina has big racial issues. Argentine fans yell racial slurs all the time. and most of them do, not only a few of them.

, when I was in Buenos Aires for a game of 2 local teams, they will yell the out of the darker players like "negro de mierda!"

and when they chanted vs. rival Boca fans they chanted "you are all dirty indians from Bolivia and paraguay" LOL

so I do beleive many argentines are racist, IMHO. , they come from italians which are racist mofos themselves.

I have to agree on that,I tend to say things like that all the time,and many of my friend as well.but it wont go beyond that at all.but My best friend in the US is Black,we worked together in a car lot,the first things he told me when I just got to the US was¨stay away from s¨,they´re trouble ,have a sorry ass credit and hate latinos.and you know what?He was damn right about those 3 things he told me.
And I´m talking about a black guy friend of mine.not a white dude or a latino.
My point is that at some point we are all racists.
I mean,it´s not only an Argentinian issue,coze we didnt try to kill every Muslim alive when they car bombed the Israel Embassy back in the early 90´s.

There is a big difference between somebody telling you to beware of a distinct sub- group withing an ethnic group (that is what I interpret by your friend using the word " s") and you equating black people to monkeys.

There is a difference between somebody, at one point in his life taking it hard against one ethnic group because he has been grieved, and you thanking God there are no black people in Argentina.

Do you see the difference?
