@ Ginobilly: Torres is a great player, but as already pointed out not even their best player on the Spanish squad, so how can you compare somebody like Torres with the best player of the world of this year (I also think that Messi is a better player than Torres)

Besides that the best player on the Spanish squad was by far Xavi, what a great midfielder that he is.

I'm glad that Spain won the Championships (though for the money it would've been better that Germany had won it....). They played the best football overall. I enjoyed their midfield play and the extreme effectiveness of their strikers. Günez (I write his name on the top of my head, so I can be wrong here) was an excellent stand in for an equally impressing Villa.

Great team, but imo not the big favorite to win it all at the World Cup. I think that both Argentina and Brazil have better squads and if the pairings are right I expect it to be the final. Indeed very early to say, but that's my feeling right now....The Dutch won't do with a lousy coach like Van Marwijk and a new hierarchy in the squad if Van Bommel and Seedorf will return.
