Not much of anything trumps The Stray Cats.
Damn. I was going to finish off my batch of 80's music with some X, but all YouTube has is a few really crappy live performances.
Guess we'll have to settle for this, then.......

Oh, ... I woke up this morning and the box my mom's urn sits in was wide open and my kids swear up and down that they are too afraid to touch it.
Maybe she's happy I just sold this POS house she left me with and can't get out quick enough? That was creepy as all- .![]()

whoa thats freaky.
I have a friend of the family who has urns with her husband, her aunt, her father, and her son on shelf in the coat closet. They are really beautifull.
She alwasy remarks that people will be putting thier coat away and see the urns and they' touch them thinkign they are gorgeous vases. They always freak out when she says that it;s an urn. Liek they were touching a dead body.
I have no idea why - but almost everyone freaks out after they've touched it.
Was that a booty call?
I like Too Drunk to better. God I miss the 80's![]()
It's not as good as "The B-52's" or "Wild Planet," but it's hardly ty.

So I'm really bad at procrastination.
I've been back from San Angelo for about three weeks now (and I've even had the paperwork earlier than that) and I need to send an evaluation, clips, a contest entry and mileage sheets to the program that helped me get my internship so I can get the final scholarship monies plus my mileage to and from.
The paperwork is due in Arlington, VA tomorrow and I haven't sent it yet. Guess it's overnight from the postal service (once I finish the contest entry and packet completion).
all over the state for work. this week i'm in johnson county, aka boringville. i'm really only in sa these days on weekends.
I spent the past three months outside of Cleburne on a glass additive project. You work in the oil patch? I swear you can't throw a rock in that county and not hit a drilling rig.
no. i work in the couthouse doing work for those type of companies.
Argh.
I get this call yesterday afternoon from UPS saying I have a package that needs a signature to accept it. The problem is, it's going to San Angelo.
So I call UPS with the tracking number left on my voicemail and they tell me to call back once it arrives in San Angelo to have it directed here. First off, I don't know what this is. The only thing I know after doing some digging is it's a company in CA that seems to do some work for XM Satellite Radio (of which I started using their service about 1.5-2 months ago).
The thing is, I've never placed an order with them. I call the company that's listed as the shipper and they just told me I ordered something from them if they're shipping it. Well, I tell them I never did.
Anyway, the post of this rant is the woman I spoke with at UPS yesterday was very nice, very cordial and helpful. The woman I just got off the phone with was not. She was insistent I must have ordered something and why would I have it sent to an address I no longer lived at.
After telling her what I knew, she still was adamant that I ordered something and had it shipped to the wrong address. I finally had to ask her to stop and listen while I told her it wasn't that hard to find out who sent it, what it might be and why somebody would send it to me since I just did a little research off the info the woman gave me yesterday.
I just hate that the two people I've talked to about this (one at UPS this morning and the operator at the company that's shipping the package) are so insistent on making me seem to be stupid for ordering something and having it shipped to a place I no longer live at.
Argh. So anyway, now I have to wait for them to make an attempt at delivering it before I can have it re-routed to San Antonio.
Rant over.
Anything to keep you from finishing what has to be done today, huh?
After I started getting dressed, I thought about that package and to call UPS. Then, when I was sitting there with UPS, I started thinking about the online setup problems I've been having with XM, so I called them afterwards.
While I was on with XM, I got a call from the company that pays me for the work with the E-N, so I called them back once I finished.
Then, I called ShopXM to see if I could find out what was being sent to me.
Then, I finally got my XM online account to work. I think I'm going to finish up the paperwork now. I've already printed out my clips, I just need to fill out the entry form and get going to the post office.
What, but you just got your XM online account to work! Time to expore!
I can't even listen right now. I need my Radio ID and that's in the truck. This way, I'm forced to sit here and finish this paperwork.![]()
