That is fair for and from him. He couldn't be offered more than full MLE for 2 years first years of deal. Poison pill for Spurs would be up to 24 mil (max for players 0-6yrs)
I think it would be around $8.4 million for the first to years (the MLE). Pelton's deal might be a little low but in the ball park. Hopefully the Spurs could get him to agree to a deal similar to this:

    Year 1-$8.4 million
    Year 2-$8.4 million
    Year 3-$9.2 million
    ------------------------
$26 million with the 3rd year as a player option.

Yeah, that's what some posters aren't getting. Plus he'll get away with tons of on defense like Draymond.
I mean, just look how McGee dismantled our frontline when those great playmakers on GS were getting him easy looks. It's like these people don't watch the games.

Also, he didn't fumble as much as Dex would have us believe. He had guys like TP, Mills, and Davis freaking Bertans throwing him lobs. Now imagine Steph, Klay, KD, Green...

Anyone will look good on the warriors. Dedmon or whoever isnt a game changer for them. The fact they have a stacked roster is the issue. Yeah I would hate for him to go there but lets be real. It doesn't matter who they get. They could start jeff ayres at C and win 70

Because ing mozgov is making 17 mil a year and he sucks?
Not everyone is the Lakers and, AGAIN, no one wants to offer the next Mozgov contract. Stop pretending Dedmon won't play well for the Warriors when JaVale McGee did.

    Sign Iggy, Livingston and Zaza.

    Shaun/Leonard/Iggy/Anderson/Zaza

    San Antonio Warriors
Zaza would probably stick his foot out in practice when Leonard is balling

Asik? Plumlee? Noah? I could go on. Teams overpay for any C who can walk and chew bubblegum. This isnt new

    At least they'll be good.

Portland is paying $130+ million for a team that may or may not make the PS.

8 mill should be enough to get him to the Warriors.

Meh. Not really a Dedmon fan so either way I don't care. I don't think he will make them any better than Mcgee or zaza. And if they lose iggy in the process then I'm ok with that

Zaza made 2.89M last year but I'm not sure about the walking and chewing bubblegum.

That's fair, but Dedmon over McGee or Zaza is definitely an upgrade. How much of an upgrade is debatable.

Sad that Aldridge doesn't even know how to complete a high-low pass.

Osman seems like a pretty good prospect. Decent handle, athleticism, shot alright from three. Wouldn't mind at all giving up Danny for him.
Not nearly enough for Green tbh. Spurs should seek a 1st rounder back as well.

Philly could offer more; Parsecnicks, Bolden, Lessort, their 2018 2nd rounder.

I'd take Parsecnicks and Bolden for Green.

I think he's better than both. He can do what McGee does but is a better rebounder and rim protector

Someone will offer Dedmon way more than GS can
Hopefully. I will be happy if both gets his money and it isn't there.

If they end up doing nothing it is not because they had no options. They are not being boxed in by TP contract. They refuse to deal him, loyalty over team success. them.

If Kawhi Leonard can do it himself. I have no confidence that RC Buford will ever field a championship caliber team without some behind the scenes, right hand man holding his hand, doing all the heavy lifting. He's a cheap, no nothing GM made famous by Tim Duncan. I mean, how many GMs can put on their resume that they won an executive of the Year award for signing Marco Belinelli and Jeff Ayres?
