    I overall agree

EU is an easier sell to Russia I believe. Having a nation from across the World [USofA] involved in our European issues is odd. China isn't meddling.
The it isn't. They're all over Africa and South America, for example.

It is odd. Read George Washington's presidential farewell address. He would be rolling over in his grave if he knew the current state of affairs.

Russia temporarily bans fuel exports to most countries in response to shortages

MOSCOW, Sept 21 (Reuters) - Russia has temporarily banned exports of gasoline and diesel to all countries outside a circle of four ex-Soviet states with immediate effect in order to stabilise the domestic market, the government said on Thursday.

It said the ban did not apply to fuel supplied under inter-governmental agreements to members of the Moscow-led Eurasian Economic Union, which includes Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan.

"Temporary restrictions will help saturate the fuel market, which in turn will reduce prices for consumers," the government said in a statement.

The energy ministry said the measure would prevent unauthorised "grey" exports of motor fuels.

The ban is indefinite and further actions will depend on the saturation of the market, according to Russian First Deputy Energy Minister Pavel Sorokin.

Now that UKR has vehicles past the defensive trenches they can begin rolling up the flanks. I'm curious to see how the RUS try to spin what is about to happen.

Apparently, Abrams is on the field now. The crews and technical teams have all been training and preparing infrastructure since last winter.

We need to continue to train them on our airplanes. We should given them F-18 and F-15 too over time and really integrate them to prepare for NATO membership.

Biden tells Zelenskyy that U.S. will send Ukraine ATACMS long-range missiles

President Joe Biden has told his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, that the United States will provide a small number of long-range missiles to aid the war with Russia, three U.S. officials and a congressional official familiar with the discussions told NBC News on Friday.

The officials, who were not authorized to speak publicly, did not say when the missiles would be delivered or when a public announcement would be made.

For months, Ukraine has asked for the Army Tactical Missile System, known as ATACMS, which would give Kyiv the ability to strike targets from as far away as about 180 miles, hitting supply lines, railways, and command and control locations behind the Russian front lines.

That was only 3 defensive trenchlines they have cleared without vehicles. Verbove is the pivot for the rear of the lines and is being encircles as we speak.

Let that sink in. They couldn't use vehicles because of the minefields outside of artillery and taking pot shots from 2 KM away. That is about to change. They don't have minefields and obstacles in the rear.

They likely won't get all the way to Crimea in the next two months but Tokmak and Melitopol seem reasonable. Once Melitopol is liberated RUS occupied Kherson and Zaporozhe will be cut off.
