Mike Roach did a “next to commit” list.
1. Thompson
2. Rogers
3. Robinson
4. Lindberg
5. Broughton

Scratch Robinson off the list since crystal ball picks are coming in for Ohio state
I could take Two Prince's in this class (cue the Spin Doctors)
Looks like he's making an August decision which isn't good news for Texas.
I think our next commitment will be Thompson Jr.
Things aren't nearly as gloom and doom as many want to believe. Even if we miss on guys like Broughton and Ransom there are other alternatives available that will fill some needs. To be honest, Alfred Collins is the real gem of the dlinemen and there is a strong possibility that JQJ becomes a safety on the next level. The dlinemen I really want Texas to get is Octavious Oxindine who is the perfect guy to play the nose guard position. Ox is an absolute bull of a rusher. Pun intended.
I think when it's all said and done, Texas will have another top 10 class.
RB Kennedy Brooks of OU hasn't been on campus all summer, so there have been a lot of transfer rumors there.
Why would this not be a good thing? He is supposed to be back on campus before his announcement so I'm thinking at this point it really isn't much news. I'm glad he has put some distance between himself and the Ohio state trip. That will make the decision much easier.
The guy comes from a good family, I'm sure he will make a smart informed decision that is best for him.
I wasnt tracking that he is coming back to UT after the dead period.

I'm guess this could be for Dorbah, but I'm hoping it wasn't.
Maybe Broughton sat down with his mom and grandma at dinner and UT won out.

Looks like it was tweeted out an hour ago so hopefully good news coming.
He said he was coming back?
I think it was for under the lights thing.
That would be huge then.
The staff will attempt to get him back on campus no doubt, but I haven't read that there's any plan by Bijan to travel before his decision.
This should be a DB offer.

Okay guys, I was just thinking about this. Texas has just dropped a Nuke on the rest of the college sports world. Do you realize how they can use this to their advantage? Yes Mr Poor inner-city star athlete. We will give you a scholarship and bring along your girl or closest friends, as long as they poor too we will give them a free ride also.
yes Mr Poor inner-City 3'star. We don't have the room to bring you on scholarship but you poor and well Our University is free, why don't you become a preferred walk on here and enjoy all the perks of being on scholarship.
Let's see any other school pull this off! I can think of maybe two schools that can do it. Aggsy and Stanford.
It's for tuition and fees. not books, not living room/board, not incidentals.
And Harvard, Rice, etc, etc are saying to UT "nice tuition deal - hold my chardonnay."
This isn't that big of a deal. It works out to about $8 million/yr in endowed spending.
