that was quick
Now do the video of him giving all of it back on the D (and then some).

I don’t see a fit in Celtics. Lonnie will be good as tank commander, losing with some showmanship.
I’m actually shocked Brooklyn didn’t sign him, short term. He’s a good guy,and not likely to cause any unnecessary wins.
Lohnnie Walker to Celts on an exhibit 10
Not a rumour just Bleacher Report spitballing but Lavine and Chi 2029 unprotected FRP for Keldon and Zollins in a larger deal that includes Phoenix and the Clippers.
Would leave a jam at the guard spot and have us playing smaller. Could provide some much needed 3pt shooting and Lavine could probably play off ball pretty well with Wemby IF/WHEN healthy.

Hmm… there will be a point when even that abomination of a contract will become less abominationy. That’s probably still a year from now, but if CHI is willing to pay a tax I’d consider moving up the timeline to this trade deadline. The acquiring team “only” has 2.5 years left on it.
I’d probably want more than the 29FRP tho. Kelton’s is a good contract, and even Zollins’ becomes a potentially helpful expiring soon.
Doesn't in Texas. Thank god for NordVPN.
If the protections on this year's pick were loosened (or flat out eliminated) as well... then I'm interested in talking.
Nah if I'm taking LaVine's contract I want Chicago's picks now. So remove protection on the 25 and give me a lightly protected 27 or Chicago can off and keep that toxic contract.
Take on LaVine's ungodly contract and give up two pretty decent pieces? Maybe Bleacher Report should just get shut down at this point. They're embarrassing.
I would prefer to have nothing to do with Lavine
The injury woes are concerning
I've noticed that when Bleacher Report proposes a trade, the smaller market teams always get screwed over in favor of teams like LA, Chicago, the Knicks or Celtics regardless of the contracts involved. Yeah Bleacher Report is a digital rag publication who uses stories like this for click bait. Come up with some real NBA reporting, this reeks of summer time desperation.
Yes, quite similar to 90% of the trade spitballing that goes on here which typically reeks of home cooking.
I’d argue these outlets are now talking about us more and attempting to get Wemby some real help in these fantasy scenarios.

Still can't believe Branham and the CHA pick wasn't enough to land Lauri, tbh.
I know the nerve of Danny Ainge trying to fleece PATFO! They’ll regret it. All those GM’s who passed up trading all-star talent for Lohnnie Walker a few years back are really biting the curb now!!!
Get 25 frp protections reduced and the 29 pick. Rehab Lavine and ship him out in a year or 2 for more assets.
25frp protections would have to be eliminated, not reduced. And 2029 isn't good enough. I want 2027 while their team is .
They can't give LaVine away right now. How would you get assets for him.
They’re just trying to dump the remaining ~$135M or so on his deal. Other than volume scoring, his game has fallen off a cliff since he signed his new deal. It’s not a matter of getting assets, it’s how many assets will they have to attach to get rid of that contract in the age of the second apron.
I don't see Chicago actually wanting to dump Lavine right now. He's a perfect tank commander. Legit 20+ ppg scorer, two-time former all-star who can't stay healthy. Gives the illusion of having an alpha dog on their team while still allowing them to be firmly in the SuckChase and protect their pick.
Yeah he's got a huge salary, but Chicago can afford it. No reason for that team to go and do things to actually make them better right now.
Of course, Chicago is like Utah and seems to have this bizarre love affair with being in the pick 9-12 range... so who knows. But conceptually, they should just ride with Lavine and win 16 games.
This, but that’s good for us in 26-27. They were in 9th, however, when they won the lottery and got DRose, and that was pre new flattened odds. The moves they’ve made so far this offseason don’t signal outright tank, but more like what you said about them.
