Nice pick up.
zach evans is supposed to announce tomorrow. i'd be shocked if he didn't pick LSU. as if this last weekend wasn't convincing enough as to which team has the far more lucrative program.
of course evans delayed his commitment. should have seen that one coming.
top 100lb doyle commits to aggy.............the sec name holds weight texas is struggling to land anyone with a pulse at lb while aggy just landed an elite player at the position...........
His top 3 were aggy, mizzou, and Illinois. Why weren't other big time programs after him? OU wouldn't even talk to this kid after his OV.
my understanding is that the kid's father was big on fisher. helps to start filling a big need for a&m, though.
Others that have signed so far are:
4-star Charlotte (N.C.) Myers Park WR Muhsin Muhammad III
4-star Fort Bend Marshall APB Devon Achane
4-star Fort Bend Kempner OG Akinola Ogunbiyi
4-star Katy Taylor DE Braedon Mowry (grayshirt from the class of 2019)
4-star Fort Washington (Md.) National Christian Academy CB Joshuah Moten
3-star Richland (N.J.) St. Augustine DT Isaiah Raikes
3-star A&M Consolidated WR Devin Price
3-star The Woodlands College Park OG Josh Bankhead
3-star Fort Bend Hightower OG Smart Chibuzo
3-star Navasota OL/DT Jordan Jefferson
Still a few signings to keep an eye on.
Ags also pick up 4-star JUCO DB Brian George of Highland CC
EJ Smith announcement getting close. i still think he chooses stanford.
waiting on fadil diggs to announce. it's a close call on this one.
Gulliver Prep national top-100 defensive end Donell Harris chose A&M over Florida.
Glad we were able to hold onto everyone today. Chris Morris, Fadil Diggs, and Donell Harris all received furious runs from other ins utions late but Jimbo was able to hold.
3 scholarships left including possible transfers. Possibilities include:
Zach Evans RB
McKinnley Jackson DT
Sedrick Van Pran OT
Edgerrin Cooper LB
Javonne Sheppard OT (transfer)
Rounding the class out with any of those three would make for a great cycle.
yes, especially since some big holes would get addressed. hoping jimbo can get a late surprise or two.
Sounds like there is going to be a lot of aggys leaving to make room for this class.
They’ll be quite a few transfers but outside of Corbin and maybe Roshoad Paul, nobody that has or was ever gonna see significant PT.
we will likely lose a QB but not sure if that would be this season. it all depends on how the depth chart plays out in the fall. also, i agree, this roster is shaping out to be more about the underclassmen, especially since quite a few true and redshirt freshmen played so well this past season.
i sure hope this is fake news:
