I around over the Russell Wilson thing because it's funny. Ok, this is how it really is, dead serious...finally!

Mike Alstott was a banger, his thing was BANG/THUMP! he wasn't going to take off around the corner on ya, ok? He had a particular skill not unlike Darren Sproles. He's the exact opposite of BANG/THUMP, ok?

Russell Wilson is not a stand tall in the pocket passer, ok? That is not his gig, his thing is "will he run or throw". Imagine Manning (either one) Brady, Rivers, trying to do what he does. They simply couldn't. No more than RW could make a living trying to stand tall in the pocket, ok?

Russell Wilson does his thing as well as anyone else does theirs, he has proven that. No he can't just stand there and wing it anymore than Peyton can run the read option, ok? RW is about the system he's in, put him in a system where it's all about standing back there and winging it, nay!

He is short and he does have better running ability than most, so he plays to what he is. He doesn't have to just stand there, so he doesn't.
