There was also a minor tactical adjustment by Barca after the first goal, where Xavi moved a bit back to get more involved in organization. He was pretty well cut off in the first 10 minutes.

Man U played too many long passes, they actually had chances when they put the ball on the ground.

love to see CR getting destroyed.

it doesnt help when manutd has no good strikers to play up front...ronaldo is better of playing from behind attacking the defense then playin a lone man up front.....

    rooney was sluggish
    park was sluggish....

first 10mins manutd played fine untill they decided to lay an egg

they are just set to lose since the first minute they chose to focus on offense. they forgot their opponent is the best offensive team.

    My UCL final's ratings-

    MANCHESTER UNITED-

Van der Sar-4- He had some good saves but Barca's first goal was his fault, he should have guarded his near post better. If he would have saved that we may be telling a different story right now.

O,shea-5- Never had problems with Henry and prevented Messi from scoring another goal.

Ferdinand-3- Messi should have never scored with a header.

Vidic-2,5- Couldn't prevent Eto'o from scoring the first goal.

Evra-4,5- With Messi playing in the center of the pitch Evra didn't have much to do in the game, and he didn't.

Park-2,5- The only play I remember from him was that goal oportunity he had after C.Ronaldo's freekick and he missed it.

Carrick-3,5- The best of Man-U midfielders, but that's not saying much.

Anderson-2- He was taken off at half-time for a reason.

Giggs-2,5- IMHO he is too old to be starting in the final of the UCL.

Rooney-3- Playing in a position that doesn't accentuate his abilities, he tried hard but never managed to do something productive. He looked more like a defensive miedfilder than an offensive player.

Ronaldo-5,5- Great first ten minutes but then he disappeared, thanks in part to Barcelona's dominance. He got a little frustrated in the second half when he realized the game was slipping away.

Subs: Tevez, Berbatov and Scholes- The only remarkable play from these three was a tackle from Scholes that could have easily been a red card.

    BARCELONA-

Valdes-7- Two good saves against Ronaldo.

Puyol-7,5- Very solid work on defense, and he was more dangerous on offense for Barcelona than Rooney for Manchester.

Toure-5,5- Playing off position he started a little nervous but then he ended up playing a decent match.

Pique-7- The best player on the defensive aspect of the game. That block he had on Park at the 2 minute mark could have been the play of the match.

Sylvinho-5- Decent job but he didn't leave much of an imprint on the game.

Busquets-5,5- He did the dirty work for Barca in miedfield.

Xavi-8- The player of the game IMO, he managed the match at his will, always made the right decision, assisted Messi for the second goal and could have score in a freekick that hit the left post.

Iniesta-7,5- He and Xavi were the main responsibles of this Barca's victory. Assisted Eto'o for the first goal.

Messi-7- Not his best game, but he was still decisive. The match clinching score and some nice ball control to ice the game at the end. I think it's pretty safe to say that he will win the next Balon d'or.

    Eto'o-6,5- The game changing goal.

Henry-5- He fooled Ferdinand at the start of the second half to earn him a goal oportunity but he couldn't convert. Didn't do much besides that but it wasn't needed either.

    Subs: Keita and Pedro.

Nothing quite as satisfying as seeing Ronaldo's face after this loss. Maybe now he'll learn to shut the up and be a little more humble.
    +1

I can't stand that arrogant prick.

He could learn 1 thing or 2 from Messi or Kaka on how to behave on the field

    Tomorrow: Barcelona vs Chelsea

    Wednesday: United vs Arsenal

    Who ya got?

*DAF86 doesn't have to respond since he thinks this Barca team is the best in the history of football.
    Was I right or what?
