    i sure as hope you're right

    Gooden averaged 14pts and 9 boards last year and has been getting about 13 and 9 this year...a pretty damn big improvement over oberto and kt...and he's only 27

    I also agree. Hill needs more minutes.

    He is our backup pg. No other suggested solutions are optimal.

    Yes, he goes through his ups and downs, but you need to get his confidence back because he is our best and only real choice for our back up point guard position.

    Yeah, he is a major upgrade and he is a starter.

    We need to get him committed to defense, but he is a serious improvement over what we have.

    This gives me a lot more hope for this year.

    We give Ime a lot of crap, but Hill and Mason have been pissing me off just as much the past few weeks. You say give Hill more minutes, but he hasn't showed ANY bright spots since the Boston game.

    Because Popovich is a serious as coach and doesn't believe in wasting minutes on guys who will not be in a Spurs uniform much longer and will not be with the team for the playoffs.

    , as long as Hairston gets his, I'm happy. I'd say the Spurs weakest position after C is SF, but Hairston getting solid PT, it doesn't look so bad. Start Gooden and Bowen in the POs, yeah, baby.

    Damn, I've faked myself into believing Drew on the Spurs is an inevitability. I need to be cautious.
