To be honest... Our guys did foul more than Spanyards.

Maybe officiating was a bit toward them, but it wasn't so horrible.

I think we can beat them at Euro if the right players play the right amount of minutes. (and play to their abbilities)


Our weakest point are 2/3 positions... and they are probably the strongest there.

I know that TV "adds" you a few pounds, but what the is wrong with Nachbar? I couldn't put a finger on it for some time but yesterday it hit me. He looks fat and slow. He is completely out of shape. That also may be the reason that his shot isn't falling. His center of gravity is shifted.
All of the sudden our SF spot looks shaky. Nachbar was a "lock" for bulk of minutes at SF, but at the moment, with this kind of shape, he simpy can't handle it.
With Golemac and his inconsistency and Jagodnik and his slow feet I'm depresed. D. Lorbek doesn't help either. Damn you Preldzic.

As I see it...

It will be vital that Dragic and Erazem Lorbek are healthy and preapared enough to be able to play 30+ minutes in Polan or we are ed. They can both make things happen. Erazem is better offensively and Dragic is better defensively. If Smodis will be healthy and ready we can include him into this role. Basically we NEED Smodis.

All the others are basically role players around them imo. Somehow Zdovc doesn't seem to trust Slokar too much for some reason; he is one of our best players imo.

We have a bunch of china dolls and role players who are able to choke. BUT we also have a couple of fearless and solid players who should carry us.

As I said before... person I fear most is ZDOVC.

Lorbek as your best player is fine but Dragic? No chance then for a medal.

I wouldn't count him out just yet. Beno is just doing what he's always been doing. Even on the Spurs. Skipping training camps and prep games

He's lazy...but when the time comes to play, I think he'll bring it.


You're one of rare people that actually sees everything Golemac is doing. Slovenian message boards are full of hatred for this guy, I think he's our best hustler so far and his passing is excellent for a big guy.

I already said Golemac is underrated player. But problem with him is he is a choker.

Shoot and play good defense; that's all he should do. NOTHING else.

What worries me is that Pau didn't play, Navarro had a poor game, as has Rubio. Fernandez couldn't hit anything until the final quarter. If anything the spaniards have much bigger reserves.

Also: Angel gets married and our team starts losing - coincedence? I think NOT!

Look dudes, I will say this once again. Scores don't mean at this moment (except Croatia - this will aways be more than just a game)
Zdovc is old school, if you remember former Yugoslavian teams they were almost always loosing in preparation games against Italians (they were good then) and some other teams, but when real games begun they were whooping asses all over the place.
Look at the Spanish roster, Rubio, Navarro, Fernandez and Pau everything else is just a working force with nothing special in them. Slovenian team can beat them. It's just a matter of mind. They really have to believe that they can do it.
If you listened Zdovcs interview after the game...he said it all.
