who the is hilsap?
No Hairston. Kinda strange.
, I hope Ian can get ten more minutes in before he fouls out. Spurs down 15 at the half.
Haislip has played
Blair almost ripped an arm off. Should not try to go over his back lol
Where is Hairston? Can't believe I forgot him, and that Pop isn't playing him.
Blair 8 pts 11 rebs in less than 15 mins. Still needs work on transition and pick-n-roll, switching D
Has Marcus Williams played?
No doubt. Landry comes over the back on the rebound, no chance, Blair almost rips his arm off. Easy two handed board and Blair barely has to jump with those freakish long arms, what a beast.
Too bad almost all of Blair's rebounds are from his own misses.
We can't stop anybody.... TANK THE SEASON!!!!!![]()
LMAO didnt want the hakeem treatment
No Marcus Williams either.
I really hope we never see Bonner, Blair, or Haislip on the court together during the regular season..unless we're winning in a blowout..
the defense has looked a lot better with Ian in the game, as expected..he's obviously foul prone though, which is also expected..he had a nice block on Ariza's drive..
Scola missed a few gimmes in front of the net, but he definitely worked both Bonner and Haislip, getting deep position on both..
Bonner wasn't able to stop anybody defensively, Blair as well, as expected..Blair's rebounding numbers aren't as impressive as he actually has looked..Bonner is shooting lights out and stretching out the defense, which is why I made the thread about him last week..he can still have a significant impact off the bench, he'll just have to play with Ratliff or Ian at all times..
nothing else notable..Manu isn't really trying to make an impact, RJ is playing as expected, getting inside easily..Mason is Mason..
Bogans hasn't done anything..
Bright spots of the half: Bonner & Blair![]()
The typical skinny NBA player will learn not to do that to Blair when he has position.
I gotta say I am impressed with Blair
Blair, all you can just say is, thank you NBA.
Oh well....at least he is hustling and going after the boards. He will get more comfortable around the rim with time.
Yes, not exactly a cohesive unit there.
Maybe it's just my imagination, but Mason looks a little faster and more athletic after losing 15 pounds. He jumped after a rebound and fought for it until Houston knocked it out of bounds.
Where is Hairston?
If neither Hairston nor Williams has played, it sounds to me like Hairston has already won out the 15th spot over Williams.
Sounds like Bonner will do a lot better as a bench big than a starter. Especially if he's on the court with Manu.
Blair is crazy! 10 boards in the first half? even if their off his misses... better than someone else getting the rebound!
