Well, it looks like if Cleveland makes one significant addition, Lebron will be staying put.

"The Cavaliers and LeBron James are reportedly working on recruiting Chris Bosh to Cleveland.

The Raptors are open to completing a sign-and-trade with the Cavaliers.

Chad Ford reports that Bosh and James want to play together, but while the former prefers it to be with the Bulls, Heat or Nets, the latter wants it to be in Cleveland.

Bosh's agent Henry Thomas has confirmed to Jonathan Abrams of the New York Times that Cleveland has been in touch with his client."

Suns Want To Work On Amar'e Sign-And-Trade With Knicks

    Jul 06, 2010 8:10 AM EST

The Suns may try to get something out of Amar'e Stoudemire's departure after all.

The Arizona Republic is reporting that Phoenix is working to use Stoudemire's rights in a sign-and-trade deal with the Knicks.

Stoudemire agreed to a five-year, $99.7 million deal with New York on Monday.

Phoenix could receive a trade exception in a sign-and-trade with New York worth up to $17 million, unless they take back a player like free-agent David Lee.

The Suns would have to use a part of the trade exception in a sign-and-trade with Chicago in order to finalize their four-year, $18 million agreement with Hakim Warrick.

"If we can do something to help Phoenix, we will," Stoudemire's agent, Happy Walters, said.

I can understand staying in Cleveland if they get Bosh, but otherwise, it's a stupid move, unless he wants to keep having #4 options as his #2..

Lebron has loyalty to his hometown city. It's as simple as that. He knows he can win elsewhere but feels he owes the people something there. He will stay in Cleveland.

If Lebron and Bosh are committed to playing together, then New Jersey is the best option.

    PG Devin Harris
    SG Courtney Lee
    SF Lebron James
    PF Chris Bosh
    C Brook Lopez

    Pretty damn good.

Since he's delaying his announcement until after his basketball camp in Akron, I somehow doubt that he's staying.

I thought the Amare-to-the-Knicks signing was official. Aren't the Suns a bit late on this? Besides, the Knicks got virtually nothing to give back.

A 17 million dollar TE is hardly "nothing".

Nothing is official till July 8 when players sign on the dotted line.

I know this has probably been asked 2304983409384 times but are TE's able to be broken up into multiple trades?

Yes. They can be split up to acquire multiple players.

For that reason, it's quite likely that any of the big FAs who switch teams will do so in a sign-and-trade; the player gets the 6 years and 10.5% raises he wants, and the player's old team gets a big TE.

Bucher already denied this. Blamed the perils of twitter. He was only giving an example of a possible trade.
