Anyone see Blair at the end of the game shaking hands? Kind of looked like he was limping around. unless thats like "gangta" walk or something, I dont know.

I'm having trouble thinking of any positive outcome from Blair playing in the summer league. Let him shoot around and practice with the guys, but I don't want him on the floor at all.

Sadly, I see Neil getting an invite to camp, even though he can't defend anybody (but his stroke is beautiful) and Gee (who can defend) getting a min contract and playing in Austin all season...

It seems like Gee, Neal, and Gist did well this game....

can someone who watched the game, give a breakdown of every player who played....maybe some stats, but mostly just how they played on both ends.

    I'll start with LeBron Jerrells:

Spurs' two best players hurt. And they still can't lose in this league.

Here's the stats and a little bit of video:

    http://www.nba.com/summerleague/game.../gameinfo.html

I noticed neither Lomers nor Brian Davis have logged a single minute in Summer League play. Are they hurt or just that far down the bench?

Sad when you don't even get garbage time minutes in Summer League. I at least wanted to see them play a little.

What I don't understand that we could not find better players to be in our summer league. I mean if I was an undrafted SF or PF/C I would be calling the Spurs to try to get with them knowing I have a chance to either get into the NBA or get with the D-League and have a decent chance moving up.

Going back to last year Jerrels sucked when we called him up the guy is a poor mans Hill why is he even on the team? I understand Temple, Gee and Gist but come on we should have been able to get better players then what we have.

They should have invited more SF and what the is the kid from Boerne doing on the team. I understand the draft was short on SF but they were a good group of bigs that went undrafted we should have invited. I know we got Splitter but Dice is long in the tooth and Duncan aint getting any younger.

For those that don't know, NBA TV will have a replay of this game on sometime tonight. I've already got it set to record. ESPN3 should also have replays available if you can get it. If you're not sure if you can get it, go to espn3.com and find out. I have Verizon and got it without having to log in or create an account.

Talked to James Anderson. He said his hammy is feeling better. Probably could play if it were regular season and not meaningless Sum League.

Garrett Temple said MRI showed just a sprain of left ankle. He's on crutches and a walking boot but injury isn't expected to be long-term.

    Thanks for the update.

I might be in the extreme minority here.. but if hes fully healthy, I think he should play at least one game for a few minutes for the summer league team, not to go out and impress and carry the team or anything, just get familiarized with the system and get some shots up.

There's still training camp, where he can work out with the real kids and the real coach...

Neal is a very good player in Europe. I doubt he will accept a training camp invite without a bunch of guaranteed money in it. I don't see Spurs giving him that guaranteed money while SG is their most crowded spot.

I hate watching these summer league games on nbatv because there's a lot of times no passing. Just a bunch of dudes who want to get and invite and hog it.

Lomers just sucks. Davis got hurt during practice before the first game, and hasn't played since. Bummer

Lomers can block some shots and can score around the basket, but he's actually as foul prone as people say Mahinmi was.
