The official story out of Beatles Corporate is that the song is about a picture Lennon's son drew of a classmate and then explained it to his dad as being "Lucy in the sky with diamonds" but just listen to Sgt. Pepper on acid once (I listened to it on repeat the whole night the first time I took acid, ps I took like 20 hits the first time) and you'll never fool yourself as hard as you have in this thread for the rest of your life.

She (the actual Lucy) died last year.

His son has also talked about the picture and the story. And John Lennon himself stated ad nauseam that the song had nothing to do with drugs. He's even said flat out "it's not an acid song."

If you don't believe the story that's cool, I was more pissed at the people ting on pre-drugs Beatles music honestly. Drugs are cool. I would take more of them but I can't afford to. Mostly just like $50 a month in weed is all I can do.

When I had a better job I was going like $250-300 a month, which cost me $50 on top of that since I got it from a friend at work who got great . He wasn't a dealer so I told him I would pay him extra to get me the . I thought it was only right since he was taking a risk and doing me a favor. I would get high on first break at work and that would make the day way better. Plus it wore off by the time I had to drive home. I was blazed probably 80% of my waking hours then. Good times.
