I'll concede to a rookie at LT, Trent Williams, needing to be the anchor. I feel they will gel as the season progresses...but McNabb will make them look better than Jason Campbell would. And Shanihan is going to lean on the run heavily. He made water into wine with every RB he had in Denver and I anticipate a repeat performance. It's not like Clinton Portis is chop liver fellas, and he is rededicated this year along with the whole team.
We also anticipate Brian Westbrook joining the team as our 3rd down back pretty soon, but we'll see what happens.
The LG is Dockery who is solid. Our C is a veteran, a bit light in the ass, but a solid vet, Rabach, that can get it done. Our RG was a FA pickup, Artis Hicks from the Vikings, and our RT is Jammal Brown who we got from the Saints in June. Probowl talent.
I have to agree that depth is a concern, but you don't build a solid and deep Oline in one offseason after it's been ignored for years. So I'll pray for health.
As for the wideouts, you just haven't heard of them because our previous QB couldn't make them shine. Devin Thomas is a breakout star waiting to happen. Our vet speedster, I think you heard of him, Santana Moss...we just call him the Cowboy killa.
Don't forget our TE Cooley and our up and coming TE Fred Davis. This duo is going to help our Wideouts give your secondary nightmares.
The whole Redskins organization has a huge chip on their shoulder that they are itching to knock off. Other than Albert Haynesworth, the Redskins are a TEAM for the first time since Gibbs left, and maybe even more so, as they finally have a vocal leader at QB now that can get the job done and walk the walk.
We do not have a shutdown corner and our free safety spot is kinda up for grabs in my opinion, but the Skins are comin for you. The goal is to win a Superbowl in your house, and the whole team believes they can do it.
Good luck with Coach Wade who all of you darn well know is in his last year before Jerruh brings in a top flight coach.
