This is coming from a guy who likes the weirdest that came out of Pixie's playground...and only listens to weird because he is advised to by a poor cheap ass music review website. Go Figure.
This girl has some diversity, unlike you. Stop living in the 80's bro. New music comes and goes, and you just have to learn to appreciate it.

As for Incubus, anything after S.C.I.E.N.C.E. was mediocre. Make yourself was pretty good, but in the end, not nearly as creative as the previous stuff. I still listen to it though. Never liked Morning View. Felt I heard it before, when it was Make Yourself.
My soon to be ex-wife was downloading Lady Gaga songs on my computer. I looked at her and said, "What happened to the girl I dated who loved Tool?"
When she started talking about how she liked Lady Gaga, I said, "Lady Gaga could be creative, if she was in the 80s and her name was Madonna."
I'm not much of a music snob, but some of these people are just blatant rip offs of others and people don't care.
If it's not dated 80's/90's metal, d4mvp DOES NOT WANT.
His 20 Coldplay play's on last.fm say otherwise![]()
That's pretty false. Metal isn't even my favorite genre. Out of my top 15 on last.fm, 2 are metal. I've been listening to Arcade Fire before IronCoconut even heard of them. Cool assumption brah![]()
No need to be mad because I've called you out for being a poser hipster. Dude, C'mon.
lol omg I'm not a hipster. Hipster, as you said, is a lifestyle(Or did you say indie was a lifestyle?)
son you can't distinguish the difference between the two?
I can't, brah. Both rock neckbeards, and both listen to the same music. Hipster's just try their hardest to listen to obscure music and hwhwhwhwatnot. I listen to pop-garbage like La Roux, so I can't be a hipster. I'd also have nothing but bands you've never heard of on my last.fm profile.
furthering your poser status, tbh.
Dude, C'mon.
TBH, someone could say "Tool could be creative, if they were in the 70s and named King Crimson."
I never gave Tool a listen, but if they sound like King Crimson, I'll give them a listen. Recommend me an album, brah.
But, see, being self-conscious of the fact that La Roux is "pop-garbage," and admitting you listen to it anyway is a hipster move.
No, indie is a genre, hipster is a lifestyle.
Tool is what Radiohead would be if they tuned down to drop d and somehow managed to write even more pseudo intellectual songs.
Dirk, you like Wolf Parade?
tbh I dont listen to Tool much. But I know they were heavily influenced by King Crimson so it was funny to see ToolFan scoffing artist that rip off other artist.
But Tool does have a few good songs. I used to be a fan a few years ago. I knew a lot of people that like Tool in the same magnitude that you like Radiohead tbh. There that kind of band that for some reason certain people get obsessed with.
yeah I usually listen to them on my mac while at the local coffee shop.
I hear that a lot. People always say Radiohead, Tool and Phish have the most pretentious(I don't even know what that word means) fanbase.
