the ball was floated into the Arsenal box. Zigic got a flick on closer to goal. Koscielny and the Keeper were both going for the ball. Kosceilny was about to clear it with a kick but he heard the GK call for the ball. Koscielny fake kicked it and the GK fumbled the ball....RIGHT to Martins for the OPEN NET. He wasn't gonna miss from there

Congrats Birmingham, congrats Muser. It wasn't even an undeserved win, although Szczesny (and Koscielny) gifted Birmingham the second goal in a way that no other team seems to be able to do this amazingly besides Arsenal.
Szczesny was pretty bad the whole game, though. And it is terrible how shaky and vulnerable Arsenal look on the defensive end. On top of that, they sometimes are too ing stupid to put the ball in the back of the net.
Well, the Carling Cup is not a trophy that will make or break the season for Arsenal, but on a mental level, it must be pretty devastating to know that you failed yet again to produce when it matters most.

Honestly watching Arsenal today they don't defend as a team, the midfield need to get back and help the defense. Although saying that they badly need some decent central defenders.
