^I'd go McGahee.
Ok people, need some input. I'm in the semifinals of my ESPN league and have a dilemma at RB...here's my team, and the guy I'm playing:
Me:
QB - Brees
RB - Greene
RB - ???
Flex - Welker
WR - Megatron
WR - Dez
TE - Gates
DP - JPP
D/ST - Eagles
K - Novak
My options at RB are McGahee (vs. Pats) or Kevin Smith (@Oak, but questionable--they say he'll play though). Which do I start?
His team:
QB - Brady
RB - S. Jackson
RB - M. Turner
Flex - Holmes
WR - Colston
WR - A. Brown
TE - Gonzalez
DP - J. Allen
D/ST - Jets
K - Bailey
Yeah NE's defense is crap, but there's always the blow-out factor with the Pats...Denver may be forced to pass often in this game. I like KS but the er has gotten injured halfway through his last two games--still, he puts up big #'s in limited action. This might be a coinflip on sunday, at least they both play at 4:00
Yeah I had KS a couple weeks ago and he was gonna get me a lot of points....until he got injured im the first half. Just a risk imo.
Then again McGahee doesnt really have a spotless injury history either.
I won by 55 last week, thanks to Brees and Megatron. I started KS over McGahee, but they both ended up doing nothing. This week I've got 3 or 4 lineup decisions to make before the championship.
QB - Drew Brees
RB - ?
RB - ?
WR - Calvin Johnson
WR - Dez Bryant
Flex - Wes Welker
TE - Antonio Gates
DP - Jason Pierre-Paul
D/ST - ?
K - Nick Novak
BN - Willis McGahee (questionable, hamstring)
BN - Shonn Greene (probable, but torn tendon in finger)
BN - Kevin Smith
BN - Mark Ingram (questionable, turf toe)
BN - Eagles D/ST
BN - Seahawks D/ST
Shonn Greene may have fumbling issues with the finger problem, but im inclined to start him anyways. Ingram hasnt played the last 2 weeks and im hesitant to start him now--especially in that crowded backfield. So it basically comes down to KS or WM...if McGahee didnt tweak his hamstring he would be an obvious start against a horrid Bills run D, but hes banged up and on a short week. Both the Eagle and Seahawk defenses have been good lately, but im leaning towards seattle cause theyre home against the niners. Eagles play at dallas.
Decisions decisions
The team im up against for the 'ship:
QB - Ben Roethlisberger
RB - LeSean McCoy
RB - Ahmad Bradshaw
WR - Roddy White
WR - AJ Green
Flex - Nate Burleson
TE - Jermaine Gresham
DP - Von Miller
D/ST - Lions
K - David Akers
Down by 14 going into tonight...he has roddy white and i have brees.
down 54 going into tonight...Brees, Colston, and Kasay got it done...Spurstalk Champ right here, son...
