Warriors get Jarret Jack in the Dorell Wright trade. Good deal for them.

With all their signings, Spurs have no money left to offer more than the minimum to free agents. They will likely now be quiet and just waiting for opportunities. These opportunities could be a trade or a free agent not finding a team.
Just checking to see if Portland had actually let him go. I know he wants out, ironically to the Timberwolves, but as long as Portland can match I don't see them letting him go unless they get something decent in return.
looks like Kaman will sign with the Mavs

Mavericks to sign free agent center Chris Kaman to a one-year deal paying $8 million, source tells Yahoo! Sports.

Brooklyn has reached agreement on a 4-year, $61 million max deal with Brook Lopez, league source tells Y! Sports.
4 year/61 million for Brook Lopez

Indiana will acquire Ian Mahinmi (4-years, 16 million) in a sign and trade with Dallas. Darren Collison and Danhtay Jones go to Dallas.
Copied from NBA forum
Nice trade. Spurs just let him walk. Mavs pick him up for pennies and got good production out of him. Now they flipped him in a nice trade.
Splitter should get a decent return based on this.

J.J. Hickson has agreed to a one-year contract with Portland, league source tells Y!
Bummer. I was hoping the Warriors would get Hickson.
WTF? Why did Indiana gift Darren Collison to the Mavs while paying way too much money for Ian Mahinmi? That's a horrible move.
How is it that Blair is so toxic that Ian is that much more valuable and can get that type of retun in a trade?
that trade pisses me off. Spurs let him go for nothing and Dallas get a great trade out of it.
Height. And the right trading partner.
Think about it. We got Leonard, the Mavs got Collison and Jones, and the Pacers are paying Hill and Mahinmi 56 million dollars.
Definitely - but with Blair being a very productive starter with a cheap contract and getting invited to Olympic training, you would think someone would value him.
I don't blame the Pacers for the Hill trade (I mean, ya they paid Hill a lot, but the assets they gave up had a decent shot of not working out), but this one you cannot defend unless Ian turns into what we hoped he was here![]()
Jorge Sierra: Rumors: Rockets consider making Luis Scola an amnesty cut. http://bit.ly/vIcV9Q about 9 minutes ago
Eric Pincus: If Scola was amnesty - don't expect him to clear secondary waivers - a cap team would take him methinks about 9 minutes ago

Dallas could wind up with Brand and Scola for a fraction of their salaries.
Stuff does seem to fall into Cuban's lap.
Maybe - how much do you think it will take to get Brand off of waviers? Dallas only has about 4M in cap space if I am not mistaken and I think either one of those guys or both could go for 2-3M easily.
Actually, may be a math fail by me - do they have ~10M in cap space right now?
The could always amnesty Haywood if they really needed capspace though.

Pacers r expected to offer Gerald Green a 3-yr, $10 million contract
Mike Wells @MikeWellsNBA
Gerald Green has moved to the top of the FA list for the Pacers as their wing player off the bench, according to source
How well did Gerald play last season when he got his chance? Was he anywhere near as good as Danny?
