    - That ending was one of the most exciting things I've ever seen in the summer league.

    - Cory Joseph is gonna end up being better than I (and many others, I'd say) ever expected. He looked great.

    - Deshaun Thomas is looking like a steal, but I'll wait to see more games before I expect a Neal-type breakthrough.

    - I still feel a bit nervous any time De Colo is handling the ball. His jumper is looking better, but I don't really see much improvement anywhere else.

    - Ryan Richards sucks.

    - The announcers hyping up MKG as he was bricking every shot he put up was surreal.

Joel Meyer did say that Mark Price had a lot to work with as far as MKG's shot was concerned...thought he was subtly saying that MKG's shot was technically horrible...

I like Cory telling the others where to be and taking on a leadership role. This should be his team.

I watched the replay last night on DVR. Cory Joseph did a decent job. He played with confidence and he hustled his ass off. That being said, he is trying to play like Parker, which I like, but he isn't TP. I think CJ will be a decent guard in the NBA someday--he is young--but TP was good enough to start at a younger age and it took him a while to get to the level he is currently playing. I am guessing he played more than Mills because he is taller than Mills and a better defender as well. If Mills ever gets his defense to the level of his offense, CJ won't play much, in my opinion.

DeColo? Don't know about this guy. He didn't play great, which seems to be the expectation especially since he mouthed off about playing time, but he didn't play terrible either. I hope he improves.

Thomas looked pretty decent for one game and was the most noticable player on the floor. It will be interesting how he responds now that opponents have seen how he plays. He took a lot of shots. Hopefully his % gets better. Could be a good pick up at 58.

I like Baynes. Yeah, he is pretty raw, but he is pretty athletic for his size and he isn't lazy. He brings a lot of energy on defense and offense, and he plays physically. His offense needs to improve, but I think he will be a good bench player for the Spurs. We are all looking for the next TD, but one of the things that makes Tim great is that he is so rare. So expecting a center, Splitter or Baynes to score 20 pts a game is not normal in the league today.

And I agree that Richards played poorly. He is a big, wide dude that chucked 3s. Spurs don't need that.

    Re-watched the entire game.

Cojo is definitely feeling comfortable and has a great at ude. His ball handling and jumpshot still need a lot of improvement IMO.

Decolo has skill but just not the heart or at ude for the Spurs. Just stays on the outside taking what he thinks the defense is giving, never imposing himself or breaking down the other team. Way too cute and soft with his game.

Baynes showed some flashes but looked real stiff at times too. He can really block people out and has a nice touch. Look forward to seeing more.

Thomas is a scorer, but can he do it at the NBA level. Has a long way to go but liked the energy. Definitely a good 2nd round pick.

Denmon has a nice stroke, but not an NBA player.

Richards was way more aware on defense that I originally thought. He has a decent feel on D. He has potential!

One thing I notice with Baynes, he get frustrated way too early and easily when things doesn't go his team way, that cause him to play less effective, he need to remember to keep his calm and confident all the time.
