If mils keeps this up, he should be in the discussion for most improved player.
in Trevor Ariza hit 10/12 3pt shoot. 37pts, 7 reb.
Dan McCarney @danmccarneysaen
Belinelli first player not named Duncan, Robinson, Parker or Ginobili with at least 16/11/8 over past 20 years.
Better question is how did Parker make the all-star game, especially with Dragic outplaying the out of him this season.
Sons, god bless Timothy Theodore Duncan tbh.
I don't get a lot of the Patty-bashing here. What exactly are your expectations of him?
Busts his ass, loyal to a fault, has the ability to be an impact player every game, producing a career best PER of 18.87 and has one of the best defensive ratings in the team - all while playing for minimum wage? Something doesn't quite add up for me.
I understand we are a bit injured but outside of our 2 very good bigs in Boris (18pts 3reb 4ast 66% +18) and Tim (25pts 9 reb +18) our bigs are pathetic. Why can't this front office get some help for old man Duncan in the middle? I know good big man are a dime a dozen but surely he can have some help down low. Our other bigs outside of Boris and Tim tonight (Bonner 7pts 4 reb) (Ayers 0pts 1reb) (Baynes DNP sux) (Splitter DNP sand in his vagina) Defensively we let Kris Humphries score double his season average (15pts to a season 7.5ppg) and Kelly someone (15pts 10reb compared to his season averages of 7.5ppg and 4.5rpg) Tim is pushing 40, why is it so hard to get him help on the inside. Its been over 10 years since the admiral set sail and the best big to pair with tim was probably Robert Horry who is a SF in a PF's body and played well when he bothered to show up from April onwards, then we have the Rasho's and Elson's, Oberto's who have come n gone that did ok for us. I just don't know why they can't sign a descent interior guy. A front court rotation of Duncan, Diaw, Bonner and Ayers isn't gonna cut it. Are we gonna get some help in the middle at the deadline? And don't get me started on the backup SF issue yet to be addressed.
coaches know more then you
Uhhh.. short answer is no..
Spurs are always low risk when it comes to draft picks, trades or signing people. Some spurs fans will cream all over Tiago because of his numbers even though what we have it to compare too are ty stats from Bonner/Blair/Corpse of McDyess.. Spurs rewarded him because RC goes by analytics that show that he was pretty effective with Tim who was having a renaissance season last year so we lock him in for "market value" Yet they are the same people that on the market value players that are putting up similar numbers elsewhere. There are players who are worth less but who could play equal or better based on how much there game would actually escalate playing in the Spurs system. Robin Lopez was a steal for his price tag and his age. Blatche has some offensive game to him and isn't that ty of a defender.
I don't know what goes on with the FO during the off-season or even now but one has to wonder how they go about a deal, what conversations are like, what they are offering up but to me they over value the end of bench players, rely too much on this "system" to cover up there hole with no backup SF. We've seen on a consistent basis that our team doesn't know how to rebound.. they stand around and wait for the other team to take possession to go back on defense.. It's silly.
it's got a lot to do with the higher than normal troll ratio
Rondo like the rest of the team is tanking brah
Indeed!

I was at the game last night. My first Spurs game ever!
Manu is still the most poplar Spurs player even though he didn't play. Many Spurs fans chanted "Manu, Manu" when he walked by. And he slowed down to high five as he walked out of the tunnel at the half time.
