Where you seeing this fam? All I saw on CH was a report that Boldin wasn't on the block...
My buddy IRL is an Insider up there and he says there's some posts in the Insider thread about Boldin, Golden Tate and Vernon Davis rumors (RIP to the latter). I don't post up there much so I just try to read and get the inside scoop.

Don't see it happening... I would like to. Don't even need a speed demon, just a guy who can run routes well and get open for 5-10 yards with sure hands, like Boldin. I get that gettleman wants to save picks and $$$, but we can't just assume we're gonna have all our guys ready to go next year and throw away this season. KB's injury could happen to short, or luke, or norman, or christ forbid Cam.

IMO I was fine with him sitting on his hands when we were 4-0... but now that it looks like we have a great chance for seeding, I think you just have to try and go all in. You only get so many shots.

i mean seriously, do these ers even watch the games

i think overall he played well. very inconsistent with his accuracy, but he made big plays and the colts had no answer for his mobility. but superhuman?

He led us down the field after a huge collapse. His confidence looked shot after the Ginn drop.. But he got us back in the game. Without Cam were going for a top 3 pick. Same applies for D

I agree. I know this is extremely unlikely , but I'd my pants if we landed Megatron. We've had a lot of rumors with him. Funchess and a 3rd

Well, a SF writer heard the Kaepernick and Newton comparison, so he decided to look at the film (wish more analysts did this) and he was astonished with what he saw. This is a great article for Panthers fans with Newton getting a lot of praise for his reads, pocket presence, and accuracy improvement.

    http://www.ninersnation.com/2015/11/...he-same-player

    Quick-quote:
Cam’s willingness to sit squarely in the middle of the pocket allows Remmer to do what Staley should’ve been able to do on the play above, which is run the edge rusher (Chris Clemons) past the quarterback and out of harm’s way. When it becomes clear that Chris Smith is going to come free up the middle on the stunt, Newton doesn’t look to bail. He stands tall and delivers a strike to Ted Ginn over the middle on the dig route. Pull up any number of drop backs in which Cam is under pressure and you’ll see a quarterback who is comfortable sitting in the pocket until the last possible moment while delivering accurate passes without a ton of room to operate.Newton’s ability to work within the pocket makes an underwhelming offensive line look much better than it really is, but the bigger hurdle for him to overcome is the receiving corps he’s throwing to.

Greg Olsen is the only remotely reliable target on Carolina’s roster. Ted Ginn, Philly Brown, Devin Funchess, and Jerricho Cotchery are the Panthers’ most targeted wideouts. Think about that for a minute. At one point Ginn was the No. 3 receiver on a 49ers team with lackluster group of receivers, and he’s Cam’s go-to option on the outside. According to Sam Monson of Pro Football Focus, Ginn has dropped 23 percent of the catchable passes thrown his direction, which is awful, but not even close to the worst rate on his own team. Funchess has dropped 46 percent of catchable balls. Forty-six percent!

Many of these drops are happening in critical situations, and others are even deflecting into the hands of a defender for interceptions. Just watch some of these plays getting taken off the board due to inexplicable drops. Here’s Ginn dropping a would-be-game-winning touchdown in overtime against the Colts on an absolute dime under pressure from Cam…

Great start to the beginning of the season. Obviously, I couldn't ask for more. We have to show that we can be consistent beating even the low-level teams. Hopefully Tennessee and Washington go by as a breeze (as they should).

We got the Skins this weekend. Apparently, they have been lethal with stopping TE's this year in the passing game. They say that statistic is skewed, though, because the only "elite" TE they've played, like Olsen, is Gronkowski. I still expect Olsen to have a big day.

We get Charles Johnson back next week for our game against Dallas on Thursday. Going to be tough to do 3 games in 11 days, but we can do it.

Kirk Cousins reminds me a lot of Bradford. Good completion percentage, but skewed due to short passes. We should see what kind of game this will be for him and the Skins early. If he throws a pick early, we got this.

The Skins have had issues stopping the run game, which obviously should work to our advantage.

Believe it or not it is better to get "a" loss out of the way soon, as silly as that sounds. No the Panthers/nobody is winning them all.

At this stage of the game we have teams who know they are in the playoffs vs teams like the Redskins fighting for their playoff lives. A loss for the Panthers no big deal, while the Redskins need all the wins they can get.

y'all will beat the r's ass. they are very predictable and rely heavily on screens and short passes. you guys have a lot of speed at the linebacker position so the panthers should be fine covering reed and jones out of the backfield. i'm not worried about their receivers having any success.

tbh it will be a blowout. Skins with the worst Run defense in the league, Cousins' propensity to throw picks when pressured... 10-0

I wonder how much they'll use the running game considering they're on the road on Thursday...

Probably heavily. But Rivera did mention he had to keep in mind for fatigue.

Under Rivera the Panthers are one of the best second half/November teams.

But, they know they are in the playoffs, while the Redskins are playing for their playoff life, they need this game far worst than the Panthers do. Don't think that isn't a factor, because it is at this stage of any season.

They can run all over the Skins and pass all over the Cowboys, if Cam isn't too tired

    Taking with that record, ha~~~~~~~~~

The Panthers are by far a better football team than the Skins....but.....the Skins are in desperation mode as ya know and the Panthers are not. That is a very big deal.
