Mavs letting Monta Ellis know that Wes Matthews with a torn Achilles is a defensive upgrade.
I don't get it, they already have McLemore and Staukas, it would just derail the development of those young talented guys. What the Kings need is a starting point guard and a back-up small forward and they're set.
Here are Pounding the Rock's predictions for Spurs FA's... (no mention of Manu, Marco, and others)
http://www.poundingtherock.com/2015/...or-free-agency
- Kawhi Leonard will sign with the Spurs for a 5-year max
- LaMarcus Aldridge will sign with the Spurs on a 4-year max deal.
- Tim Duncan will return to the Spurs for three dollars and fifty cents.
- Danny Green will sign with the Blazers on a 4-year deal worth $48M
Khris Middleton re-signs with Milwaukee for 5 years 70 million. 14 million a year for him is a pretty good price
Meanwhile, Manu tweeted five hours ago about one of his kids, with basketball seemingly the last thing on his mind.
The Spurs are responsible for this.
So have the Spurs unfortunately. This is who you can look forward to filling the shoes of Green, Mills, Belli, and Splitter if all are sacrificed in the name of Aldridge.... the rotting corpse of Tayshaun Prince.
same pistons that paid jodie meeks
let's salary dump/trade splitter & parker... sign lma, resign green... and snag wade.
patty can start. a starting line up with him, green, leonard, lma, and duncan is as good as you can ask for.
ginobili & wade would be lightning in a bottle x2. i've wanted wade since i saw his play against the hornets in the eastern conference playoffs his rookie year. i can still remember him battling baron.
Some Danny Green/Knicks quote.

Green, the Babylon, Long Island native, said just having Phil Jackson and Derek Fisher leading the charge is enough to listen.
“For sure – anybody turning down a meeting with them would be crazy,’’ Green said Tuesday night on Alan Hahn’s ESPN Radio show in the hours leading into the free-agency period. “It starts with them and Melo as well.’’
Reports early Wednesday morning had Sacramento and Detroit making contact with Green’s reps. The Knicks are coming off a 17-65 record and drafted a project at No. 4 in Kristaps Porzingis.
“I don’t think people are scared of the Knicks,’’ Green said. “They’re rebuilding. … Some guys want to go where they’re already winning. They get a couple of good pieces this summer, I’m sure it’ll attact more guys.’’
“I’ve thought of many different scenarios,’’ Green said when asked if he would want to play in the Knicks’ triangle. “I don’t know what’s going to happen.’’

i've thought green was gone as soon as the season ended and posted as such. i DON'T want to lose him but that deserves to get paid.
Not touching wade with a 10 foot pole. What we dont want is another Splitter, TP injury bomb
i want wade. not that i think it'll happen. he'd have to take around half of what he wants.
I'd let it just play out with Green before panicking. He's the kind of guy that likes the attention. I think he'll enjoy meeting with teams while the Aldridge situation plays out.
I'd say that if Aldridge signs, the chances of Green staying are around 50-60%...and if he doesn't those chances drop to about 20%.
see my thread "Another Disappointing Draft"
Kris Mid getting 14M probably shows the market for Green. I'd say that is comfortably the high end/expectation for a team that gets Danny. I could see slightly smaller, but Green is every bit as good. It's going to be at least 12M but my guess is higher at 14M+.
Good news is, even at that price, SA should have a shot to keep him if they want him.
Blazers just gave 120 million to Lollard
Adrian Wojnarowski @WojYahooNBA
Goran Dragic has reached agreement on a five-year, $90 million deal with the Miami Heat, league sources tell Yahoo Sports.
I know we had no chance. But he was the only guy I really wanted in free agency.
