Right now we have several problems. Unfortunately, Tony is only one.
Increasing Kawhi's role along with LMA has given us two components of isolation to the starting lineup and that is naturally reducing that unit's "movement". Coupled with Parker being TERRIBLE at incorporating anybody not named Duncan and Green (who was one dimensional offensively anyway) not even providing his one trick and we get that cluster of a first unit. The second unit has essentially NO isolation/ballstopping component so their movement is noticeable but more importantly PURPOSEFUL and it flows very well. Pop has his work cut out for him because Parker is the biggest issue when talking BOTH sides.

Same here. He's an elixir.
Because magically the ball starts to move
West and LMA look more comfortable
Second unit is closing the gap during losses and extending the lead during wins. And our starters are consistently throwing it away. This feels weird.
Because Manu's the only true playmaker on this team.
And, yeah, thank the basketball gods Manu decided to come back. Holy .
Thank you Hater tbh

Hard to believe he shot 41% from 3 last season. Looking at last season he had stretches where he 30% and below over an 11 game stretch then made it up by shooting 50-70% the next handful of games. I don't think we can afford stretches like that this year, just like we couldn't last year..even with the addition of LMA, this team doesn't look like an offensive powerhouse we expected tbh(so far)
God forbid he go down with injury. it has been a while though..
First unit offense was hideous, but the team still scored 51, which isn't bad, tbh..Parker wasn't as bad on offense as people are saying, he's doing what Pop is putting him in position to do..the first unit just has no structure with all the 1-on-1 play, and Green missed his only open 3 with them..
Defense just needs to tighten up vs. Walker and Jefferson..
Hopefully Kemba Walker reverts to his real self in the 2nd half, tbh, one of the most inefficient PGs in NBA history..
Hawks are on a roll. 6 straight wins including tonight's rout over Washington. Actually, after Spurs, WAS lost to the freaking Celtics.
What happened to MVPatty? Team's not surprised by him anymore? Could use a 9-12 point quarter any day now.
You sick bas . The jinx is on.
What is a travel in the NBA? I'm watching on delay, and at the 6 minute mark of the 2nd quarter Walker receives an in bound pass and takes 5 or 6 steps without dribbling. Seriously.
impressed by the Hawks ... they look like they will push it to 60 wins again this season.
But the historical defense, sight to behold!
I see this all the time with guy's getting the in bounds pass...I figure the refs don't care because it's not really being used to get an advantage.
Kemba scores on TP with ease. Parker turns it over on the other end. Hornets now up three
