I don't have a ton of confidence in any of our young wings. Mills/Dedmon/Lee have carried the bench pretty much. Bertans possibly, but no one has stood out.

With Simmons, I think his athleticism makes him an asset, but he's also got similar issues as Anderson with not shooting. We'll see which of them picks it up as we go. It might be a case of going based off matchups to determine which of them plays

You have good points bklyn... but in terms of the regular season that is the time for guys to develop. They have all been up and down and streaky.. hey even Danny hasn't inspired that much confidence, but they need opportunities to learn from.

Anyways, luckily this got in garbage time and such opportunities arose. Even from mistakes these guys learn, look at film etc. Otherwise Spurs don't have anything... and they have some old guys. One doesn't know who will need to step up. Maybe none of them, but for them the RS is significant to learn from. One has to hope.

Simmons is clearly focused on penetrate-and-dish. But damn he needs to take some shots. Especially those open 3's. If he can make them respect that shot, he's instantly better at the other.
