    Cowherd is right tbh
Dude is shooting 42% and has the worst assist turnover ratio of any PG

Coherd isnt the coach. If the coach knows the ball has to be in Westbrook's hands the majority of the time and he needs to do all the scoring in order for them to win. You have to believe in what the coach believes.

Coach is just afraid to bump heads with the only star left in OKC and lose his job, of course he wants RW to pad stats

I highly doubt the players had anything to do with it. It's a business decision. The league office saw the NFL and NHL raking in ad revenue by doing awards shows at the end of the year, and now they want a piece of that action. Not everything is an example of "muh sensitive players, muh NBA should be exactly the same as the '90s!!!"
Has LeHype ever had a season like this? If not, how is he better than Westbrook?

Westchimp is the worst or best if you prefer stat padder ever... rondo is a virgin stat padder compared to westchimp...

Brah you act like 2 uncontested rebounds per game is an insignificant amount. Harden is at 8.1 rpg, so he would be averaging a triple double as well if his teammates were getting out of his way so he could grab a board two more times per game.
    this

also give Harden same usage than Westchimp and see the results... westchimp has 42% usage highest ever by wide margin

but but why nobody did it before

Has Russ ever led his team in every major statistical category before? "LeHype" did it in 2008-09.

How many seasons of at least 25/6/6/1 has Westbrook had? "LeHype" has done it every year except for his rookie year.

Russ is a beast, but he's no LeBron. Nice try, Cristobal.

Westbrook's haters still haven't explained how Nenê, Eric Gordon, Trevor Ariza and Ryan Anderson are worse than Steven Adams and garbage. You guys just keep repeating that Frauden has the worse team without any facts to back it up. Just accept the fact that Westbrook is the better player, the more valuable player and the more deserving player. You'd have a better case arguing for Kawhi instead of Frauden.
Always a great argument. "Just accept the fact that -insert adverse position-"

A player who puts stats above winning should never be the MVP. It's pathetic what some of these teams are doing for individual accolades.

Really? Curry chuckin up 900 3pts in a single season won him an MVP award. If that isnt stat padding, I dont know what is.

He was making over 45% of them and was clearly their best player and led them to an all time best regular season record (it's a regular season award)

His threes were winning them games, and he barely played in 4th quarters last year. Not like he was out there in the last 2 minutes down 30 trying to make more threes for the box score

I agree. Kobe winning MVP was a travesty. Thankfully, there's no stats-over-winning players in the field this year.

You cant give the award to some stat padder whose team got a 6th seed, thats not a big accomplishment, now if his team was a 2nd or 3rd seed that would be another story.
Thats not a Most Valuable Player, thats a Most Cancerous Player.

    what a terrible comparaison

    8,6 uncontested rebounds per game
a whole team organized for a player to grab rebounds
    all time high 42% usage
bigger chucker and selfish player than kobe
passing up a wide open 3 to stat pad an assist and fail
    not even 50 wins mvp

Killing your argument. WB trip dubs won 80% of their games, and he played 10 less minutes a game than Big O did to get his 41 trip dubs.

Westbrook is a start chaser. He was gunning for the all-star game MVP until they stopped passing him the ball to give it to AD.

    What?

Curry shootin a 3 down by 1 with 10 sec left in game
4 on 2 fast break and Curry shoots a 3
First shot taken is a 3, no ball movement
2pt shot could have won the game, shot a 3 instead
loaded team gets them to 60 wins

Get tha fugg outta here. Curry has chucked stat padded away big time, just on 3's.

    42% usage

building a team not to win games but stat pad a player

    oh and 42% usage !

    29 8 11 34% usage > 32 10 (9 uncontested) and 10 42% usage
    Harden more MVP than westchimp

Killing my argument? Curry put the games on ice in the third largely because of his 3 point shooting. He wasn't padding stats. That destroys your argument, not mine (you said curry padded his threes).

Instead you have games where OKC is down 20+ with 2 minutes to go and Westbrook is out there gunning to get that one last assist for muh triple double
