NBA: '18 mvp bron or harden?

Curry may be the only reasonable runner-up.
MOP (Most Outstanding Player) is Harden. He has taken his game to a truly amazing entertaining level. A few other players have a shot at MOP this year, but due to media coverage, Harden would be the heavy favorite, should this award ever come into existence...

Harden had a better case for MVP last year than West also.. he was on the 3rd seeded team without Chris Paul (Not the 6th seeded team) and damn near averaged a triple double himself. (29 ppg, 11 apg, and 8 rpg) He had the award stolen from him last season. Especially with the way Westbrook and his teammates let him stat rebounds. They basically would just box out and let him grab every uncontested rebound, He was taking rebounds away from his own bigs, it was embarrassingly shameful.

Frauden had the better supporting cast - cue the "but, but, look at the preseason power rankings!" excuse, as if that matters more than the actual games - and had the refs padding his stats for him with bogus flop calls.

Frauden was playing his usual 36+ minutes per game with a wrist injury down the stretch last year, even though their seeding was already decided, all for the sole purpose of padding his stats for the MVP discussion.

Frauden draws more (bogus) fouls on threes than entire teams do. Now that's some truly shameless stat-padding by the refs and Frauden.

The fouls are absolutely bogus. Frauden manufactures the contact by jumping into the defender, locking arms, and flailing. The refs then reward him for it with bull calls.

I don't think anybody cares, but the fact that you have to get cherry picked stats to show up in this thread---and immediately come back running whenever you do says a lot about how this is bothering you.
