Saw the whole video, they sound unconvincing and they sound like they are hiding something so I dont think they helped their case much. Also the RT interviewer was very poor. she was almost mocking them for going to see a clock.

but their narrative seems believable. There was a big storm on march 3 and the surroundings of Salisbury were innaccesible. Maybe thats why they were forced to walk around city center. Also one important note is they could not have arrived before noon the day of the attack. And Skripals left their home in the morning so how could they have rubbed novichok on the door handle before Skripals left?

final note, why would 2 men carry the novichok in a womans perfume bottle while traveling internationaly? Makes no sense as a mens cologne would have been much better disguise.

Still think is a smart move by Putin to have guys interview. Evethough UK gov already responding that they are not credible. Seems like the ball is back in their court and they need to show some more evidence to back up their claims.

especially clear up the clear timeline issue

Russian Spies Caught On Way to Swiss Lab Testing Chemical Weapons from Salisbury and Syria

As well as staging an interview on RT (which may lead to RT losing its UK broadcasting licence), it seems Putin’s men tried to interfer with the international investigation of their nerve agent attack.

Two Russian men, not those interviewed by RT, were arrested by Dutch security services earlier this year.

The Dutch believed they were on their way to the Spiez Laboratory in Switzerland,

then testing the samples given to the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) by the UK.

These were later confirmed by the OPCW to be Novichok nerve agent.

Other samples being tested were from Syria where the Russians or their ally are believed to have dropped banned chemical weapons.

The laboratory has also confirmed that there were attempted cyber attacks.

A spokesperson for the Swiss Federal Intelligence Service (NDB) told The Independent that

authorities “are aware of the case of Russian spies discovered in the Hague and expelled from the same place”.

“The Swiss Federal Intelligence Service (FIS) participated actively in this operation together with its Dutch and British partners,” she added.

”The FIS has thus contributed to the prevention of illegal actions against a critical [part of] Swiss infrastructure.”

Officials at the Spiez Laboratory said it had also been targeted with cyber attacks,

including a fake conference invitation that contained malicious software.

The spies, who were allegedly found with espionage equipment that could be used to spy on the laboratory, were sent back to Russia and have not been prosecuted.

And thrown under the bus. Can you imagine Putin:

“Sir the assasins have completely ed up what do we do with them? Gulag? Hanging or shooting squad?”

“We will throw them under the bus. Have them do an RT interview as punishment”

Putin doesn’t ever proceed with blatant lies

“We have no troops in Crimea “

    “We are taking Crimea “

    Naahh...
No. It would be stupid for him to lie.

apparently the Skripal daughter is recovering very well and father is now in stable condition. This is from an attack with a military grade nerve agent 10 times more deadly than VX gas

Still nobody else in the hospital or first responders have even tested positive for even a trace

Brit government claims the pair was exposed to the chemical at their home and have now removed the front door of the house. 3 weeks later

The pair left their house at 9am and were found at 4pm at a park bench. Means somehow Novichok waited about 7 hours to take effect. A military grade nerve agent 10 times more deadly than VX gas

And now this. Cornell professon going in raw

Investigative Site IDs Skripal Poisoning Suspect as Veteran Officer and “Hero of the Russian Federation”

The investigative website Bellingcat, working with the Russia-focused media site The Insider

claims to have identified one of the two suspects in the March poisoning of Sergei and Yulia Skripal in Salisbury, England.

According to the investigation, one of the two men charged by British authorities, who traveled to the U.K.

    under the name Ruslan Boshirov,
    is actually Anatoliy Chegipa,

a colonel in the GRU—Russia’s military intelligence service—

who was awarded Russia’s highest state honor, Hero of the Russian Federation in 2014.

British officials, who also charged that the two men were GRU officers,

have not yet commented on the report, but according to the BBC,

“there is no dispute over the identification.”

Betaface.com, which runs industry standard software, gives the faces an 83% similarity, putting the probability of them being the same person at 2.8%.

By comparison it gives me a 72% iden y with Chepiga and a 2.1% chance of being him.

    The West indicts the GRU
America, Britain, Canada and the Netherlands make Russian spies look like bumblers

THE receipt was for a taxi ride on April 10th to Moscow’s Sheremetyevo airport. The pickup address was Nesvizhskiy Pereulok, adjacent to the headquarters of the GRU, Russia’s military intelligence service. The passenger’s last name: Morenets. Three days later, when a man whose passport identified him as Aleksei Morenets was arrested in The Hague by officers of the MIVD, the Dutch counter-intelligence agency, he still had the receipt. Perhaps, speculated Onno Eichelsheim, head of the MIVD, he needed it to claim his expenses.
