A Godfather deal implies something that can't be refused. Even with Ingram and Kuzma, there isn't much in that they can put together that they couldnt refuse. They need a 3rd team in this.

lol lakerfans thinking their young players are studs, if they were studs shouldnt the lakers have qualified for the playoffs last season?

spurs already got players at those positions, not great potential upside, but they fit the spurs model...whose to say if lakers traded those said players and they end up pulling a kawhi stunt wanting to leave when they are off the rookie contracts

same could be said about celtics young rookies also....

without a trade or allowing kawhi walking without receiving anything back, spurs will just continue to retool around lma and the younger guys, its not like they missed kawhi last season or failing to qualify playoffs spot...wont be winning anyway with gsw big4 still in tact...the west is still anyway after gsw/rocokets/jazz..so thats like 5 playoff spots up for grabs

the spurs will be fine anyway going forward post kawhi

if the lakers sign pg and lebron, spurs get all the leverage back, as the lakers won't be able to sign him next year.

So, let me get this straight. Some weeks ago Laker fans were telling me I was crazy for thinking Ingram would be included in a trade. Now it results that even with Ingram, Kuzma and everything they have to offer, LA still can't get Kawhi?

I know right? A crippled autistic quitter who barely seen any play time last season is definitely not worth selling the farm for.

Any deal involving Ingram should be a automatic no no.

Definitely in the right age bracket to become a spur

Lakers can't sign Kawhi next season if they sign Lebron and George this offseason. That's why Magic is so desperate to trade for him.
