Cause he’s 6’7 212 lbs... would get eaten alive down low by other bigs.
Did he not start at PF for the Nets? Seems like 6'7-6'9 215-230 is the prototypical PF in today's league. I know he's on the small size but he's always played strong.

Carroll would seem to be the best fit not saying he can really defend him though.

DDR can be a legitimate 2nd best player on a team that could win a championship with the 3rd player being someone like Tobias Harris. LMA on the other hand is at best a legitimate 3rd option on a championship team. LMA is not that good unless his jump is really on and that's not good enough to lead the Spurs to a chip.

As I've been saying from the start, the Spurs should've kept Kawhi, played out the season, made the WCF, and signed him to the supermax the following summer.

Popovich doesn't believe in small forwards, playing combo guards in uncomfortable positions is the "best solution"

D-White hits a 3. If he could do that just semi-regularly, he’s a completely different player. He has good form, he just needs to get more confident in his shot. Seems like whenever he misses his first couple jumpers, he shies away from it the rest of the game.

no doubt. the ing super max was made exactly for teams like us (small market) trying to keep players like kawhi (best in the league). dip PATFO got too full of themselves tbh

He would've just medically sat out again.
