Why did Kawhi switch? Scurred of the moment![]()
I laughed at Ernie Johnson saying " ass white boy." on inside the NBA. I'm going to have find that clip so I can laugh a few more times. It sounded funny coming out of his mouth.
Please do post

Here is a short clip of him saying it but he said it several more times on the show when discussing Montrez.
My life is complete now![]()
It's even better when you see the 5 minute conversation they had about Montrez. Ernie used it several times. It was too funny. I'm sure somebody will eventually upload the full conversation.
The full conversation which is even better.
I want to see Ernie make a hip hop video now. Boats and hoes, boats and hoes![]()
Ernie says ass white boy at 20 seconds and says it again at the 4 minute mark for anybody who wants to hear it.
Chuck keeping it a buck as always.
Paul George needs to step up
Lol Kenny basically saying "It ain't racist cause he black", Chuck ain't having none of that
I agreed with Chuck. You can't have it both ways a racist insult is a racist insult regardless of who said it.
man, never seen kawhi scared like this before. dude really went away from guarding luka in that last play.
how you gonna let a 21 year old, unathletic white kid intimidate you like that
shouldve been 3-1 with the porzingis ejection game 1.
I think he made a distinction, even though as usual he’s about as eloquent as gargling on jagged rocks. Kenny said it could be viewed as racist, but it wasn’t racism. Racism has to do with power and oppression. A statement can be racist without being about racism. A black man walks down the street and gets called the n-word, it’s a racist comment. But that’s not racism. A black man goes on a job interview and a white man with a significantly weaker resume gets hired over him, that’s racism.
Words can be racist without being racism. When actions are taken that marginalize or negatively impact one’s freedoms or livelihood based on race, then it’s racism.
Montrezl can’t do to Luka as far as oppressing his rights or freedoms. Short of stopping in the middle of the court and beating the out of Luka while calling him a ass white boy, which then would be about his health and livelihood, just calling him a white boy is not racism. Flip the coin, Luka calling him the n-word wouldn’t be racism either. Racist, not racism.
Kawhi is done. He was a beneficiary of playing with all-time greats when he was with the Spurs and a stacked Toronto squad, which barely squeaked past a depleted Warriors squad.
When Kenny said that, I thought: "You do realize 'racist' is the adjective form of 'racism', right?"
I think it's a totally unnecessary distinction based on the 21st century re-conceptualization of racism.
done night be an overstatement, but otherwise... truth bombs
That’s a fair criticism, but I think the distinction is still there. It’s about the evolution of cultural language. You see, the distinction isn’t really between “racist” and “racism.” The distinction is between “racism” and “racial discrimination.” That’s where the real difference exists. But when you talk about a movement or ideology for racial justice, screaming “Stop Racial Discrimination!” can be word heavy. “Stop Racism!” much more succinct.
Language is dynamic and meanings and definitions evolve.
What is the word “boondocks” mean? It’s like somewhere ing far, remote, tough to get to. Right? Something like that. I’m Filipino. Boondocks is derived from the Tagalog word “bundok,” meaning mountain. Usually pretty ing far away. But boondocks in American English has nothing to do with mountains. GIs stationed in the Philippines in WWI and WWII brought the word back with them. Meanings change. Language evolves.
Racism really means racial discrimination. It’s evolved into that, and is distinct from racist. And maybe it will change again. But I think currently the distinction is still there.
I've probably never uttered these two words together in my life, but "GO MAVS"!
chuck said something like he's never referred to a player by the color of the skin (yeah, right) on the court.
kenny actually made the best point without even realizing it and it went again his argumenthe said something like: "why is saying bîtch ass white boy on the court so bad but saying bîtch ass n**** on the court isn't?"

They are both bad. Calling a Negro a BAN in most pickup games will lead to people throwing hands. NBA players get away with it some because ig you throw hands there are repurcussions ...plus so many players are friends nowadays.
and I'd be willing to bet that it's exceptionally rare that white guys are calling black guys " " when trash talking, bc there would be far more altercations, and everyone would know about it since everyone wants to make excuses for why they throw punches
