3rd quarter will be interesting cause we were awful coming out of halves last year
There will be teams that he’s more useful against. When the other team is playing SloMo and Brandon Clarke at PF, you can get away with slightly smaller lineups.
And that’s assuming Luka exists. Not sure he does yet.

It's a quick reaction to say who's right based on one half. My concerns are A) Its effectiveness against bigger lineups and B) the overall wear and tear that playing small every game will have on the players. Johnson MIGHT be able to be a four for the whole year, but I'm more than a little skeptical he won't end up tired out or injured in a few months. Playing big is hard on the body, and Johnson should be doing more on offense than a guy like Battier did.
Where's drew to call out the bolded spurstalk eyetester donks lol
True, I mean, I wouldn't mind an alternating line-up this season the way MLB teams do when they change their pitcher every game. It's probably smart to do it this season given the bizarre schedule.
You mean all the Austrians? Pop doesn't. He's immeasurably better than Poeltl on offense. His defense is on par with Poeltls. He hits his free throws. He's actually someone that has to be guarded which opens up spots for others.
Aldridge is an asset. Learn basketball.
probably on a live on your youtube channel with 1 zillion subscribers
I'm gonna come out and say it: I miss him, tbh. His weird ass takes were real fun to watch. A chaotic good kind of character, much needed in this forum.
Damn Lonnie hand was at the top of the backboard![]()
The defense when Derozan is on the court...he hasn't even been terrible but geez![]()
holy lonnie just killed someone
Right, the guys thinking that Lyles won't return to the rotation or will go without an opportunity to are being delusional.
He'll need to prove that his play after January (last season) is sustainable or he'll likely be just a stopgap player. Which would apparently make ST super happy, I guess.
At least DeRozan is taking a backseat for the other guys, that's way more than we can ask for...
God ing damn it. That's the most enjoyable half in years. Not having to deal with Brent Forms is so refreshing.
This youth movement is so exciting. Can you imagine how high this team's ceiling can be if Luka Samanic actually reaches his potential?![]()
I want the Spurs to be the team that forces the other club to match up against. It would be good for the young guys to settle into a rhythm.
bruh just admit you're wrong. There aren't many great PFs in the league and there is nothing that Trey Lyles is better at than DeRozan. It's the best possible line up and going small is an advantage in this league, especially when you're trying to run
DRIVE AND KICK LONNIE IS BACK! This is what I've been looking for from the Bubble!
Don't be greedy now...
Aldridge is also lazy as on that end. We lose out on offense with Poetl in his place but the imrovement on D is significant.
Thankful for good half of bball by damning God? Doesnt make sense
