Derrick white is embarrassing. I fail to see him provide anything of value. The first quarter Mavs run happened the second DeJounte went ti the bench and White took over the show. This team looks disjointed and feeble any time he has the ball.
If we had two DeJountes instead of him we'd be pretty solid

Agreed--I'm holding onto that copium though that he's just been rehabbing for a long time and is rusty. He's been absolutely terrible in consecutive should-have-been wins as the oldest fixture on the team.

Yes sir. Flat out crushed. Went home and cried himself to sleep with his head buried in a big pillow full of cash. All the front office guys & coaches are just cruising. Kawhi Leonard took the biggest on this team and essentially ended this franchise's hopes of winning another championship for years, if ever. This sucks. Losing sucks, no matter how many exciting plays we may see or the Spurs marketing team posts on their social media pages. 1-4. That's exactly who they are.

Serious question. Did anybody in the NBA ever become a star after spending their first season or two in G-League? Seems like the G-League prepares players to be obedient role players more than anything. I get the value of G-League when you're drafting late 1st or 2nd rounders and your main roster doesn't have the available minutes because they're in contention mode(Duncan era for instance). But there's no excuse for it now.

We're watching this team at its ceiling. That's it. It won't get any better than this. They'll keep it close against good teams, beat the dregs of the league more than not & at the end, they'll be at about 35 wins. They'll be this team until they get better players. Not one person on this roster is more than a glorified role player. Not one person on this team knows how to win or is capable of being an alpha.

The biggest difference from the last few years is that my expectations are firmly in check and the losses aren't frustrating. They're expected. Talent wins. Character, playing hard..blah blah blah. Those things are all important but winning is about having the smartest and best talent. Derozan & Aldridge proved what they are in their time here. Betas. Don't miss them at all.

Well you can’t really say they’re at their ceiling. First, it’s early in the season. They’re bound to get better. Second, besides Derek, who personally I think has already peaked, we have very young guys who haven’t even skimmed the surface. I think DJ is going to just get better. He has that dog in him. Likewise Keldon. Lonnie, Vassell, Poeltl all have shown improvements from last season. I think we have to remember that they are a developing team and that’s exactly what they will show. Personally except for this game, I’ve been very pleased. Tonight it’s on Pop killing the momentum. Maybe he’s still experimenting on the players combination with a big lead, but that was a big flat in his face. That’s pretty much it.

Vassell needs more shots. I know he didn't shoot well tonight, but he is the most fluid guy we have playing currently and it is hard for anyone to gain rhythm only taking shots sparingly, at random, and often after other guys have wasted 21 of the 24 seconds.

He needs the green light. I believe his mentality is different from White's. If we tell him to shoot more, he will.
