Spurs doing us a favor so we don't have to watch the 2nd round tomorrow.
Agree, it's probably nothing but does feel like positioning for additional moves due to the odd timing
Spurs doing us a favor so we don't have to watch the 2nd round tomorrow.
Surprised to see CMB so high on Bilas best available
Good call and most realistic imho
Early bird gets the future second rounder.
It does seem strange that they'd do this before the draft unless there are more moves coming.
we're probably trading for Domantas Sabonis![]()
Harder to find a trade partner if the board doesn't fall right.
I was hoping they'd do #14 and #38 for #19 and #22, scoop 2 of Wolf/Beringer/Flemming/McNeeley/Raynaud or anything that falls, but then we traded our 2nd to Indy (again).
No room to develop 3 rooks, gotta get ing Branham some minutes![]()
The Spurs certainly need more future second rounders!
I believe by sending out cash Indiana triggers the 2nd apron.
so SAS have a pick-swap with SAC in 20131 AND their SRP that year?
if brian wright had gumption he'd phone SAC right now and offer them both back for keegan murray tbh
Get ready for the “Spurs trade #14 for a future FRP” tweet.
if this is true, we ought to see them be aggressive in trading SRPs for players (like john collins)
More surprised to see Bailey so high
Nancy always buys Kings draft picks, most reliable NBA thing to go up in value.
Spurs dont trust their player development![]()
Memphis been doing great work with SRPs too. The severe decline of Spurs scouting/development department over the past few years has been truly stunning (we've barely getting value out of 9th & 11th picks these days).. And we've straight given up on picks in 30s range as it seems..
Not even waiting on seeing who's there .... Never ends
Do you want this Door or the combo guard who will play in Austin the entire year Door?
Why are we never using second round picks these days? Didn't the Spurs draft Tre Jones as a second rounder
I doubt Drake Powell gets to 38, Spurs probably have to trade into the late 20s to have a shot at him (I'd definitely like that). This probably saved us from picking the 2025 version of Nuñez or Ingram. Spurs can't pick 2nd rounders to save their life for many years.
