I have a question for everyone to answer ... if nate robinson would have gotten that dunk off the backboard between the legs,

would that be better than vince's in 2000

especially if he got it on his first attempt
yeah, and not only his, but a bunch of other guys too.

The whole best dunk of all time thing was a sham. VC's wasn't all that great at all. They just picked some other weak ones to compete.

I was surprised by Hakim Warrick's first dunk, if he changed one thing about it, it would have been a lot nicer, but I can't really explain it. I didn't know he was that athletic, I thought he was a straight up I'm gonna dunk in your face type of guy. I never knew he could do that kind of .

Wouldn't be another tie? I think there was only a 1 pt change. 10 changed to 9.
I watched it on my Tivo, noone changed the score, the one judge that gave him a Iggy a 10 put the card down early, then put it right back up.

yeah, and not only his, but a bunch of other guys too. I agree alvarez but I was just comparing the 2 because they were basically the same dunk

i think if Iggy got his backboard dunk on the first try, that would have been the greatest of all time.

Again, if Moses Malone wouldn't have ed Nate over on his Spud Webb dunk, we would have never been subjected to the 13 try dunk attempt.

I thought AI deserved it when he did the behind the backboard dunk, but his last couple of dunks after that were average and recycled. Sorry. It looked like he was trying to win it living off the rep of the dunk he did in the first round.
He did it(took for- ing-ever) before the Spud Webb dunk too.

And Moses Malone gave his buddy iggy a 10 on the dunk that others gave him 8's and 9's, and sent it to a "dunk-off". While the dunks were good, the contest doesn't compare with the old ones, the players are given free reign to mess up as much as they want. I believe the most chances you got in the glory days was 1 mulligan.

And Iggy was recycling the same dunk. Even with the nates misses, I think Iggy did not deserve it.

And I bet that next year they will have digital scores.

I would complain if a 6 foot 6 guy took 15 chances to get a dunk off but nate is 5'9. I mean missing a dunk 2 times or so take alot of energy out of someone that size and to be able to still come back on the 14th try and still get the same height and complete the dunk is great. its not like those dunks were easy, then I would complain

Yeah that's rediculous, people who play basketball can compare to this, I know I can. When you try to do somethin crazy, you probably can only do it like 1 time per day because it takes all of your energy and power, and the jump needs to be perfect.

Nate is just in great shape if he can jump so many times and get the same height consistently after each time. He's a hardworker.
