Ok, so looks like I'll be probably wrong predicting 98-92 but god that was SO ugly! We missed a few shots we normally make under the same pressure defense. Either way, you gotta give props to both teams because they are both playing pretty damn good defense right now.

TD is soft inside and forgetting to box out repeatedly allowing dampier and diop to get offensive rebounds.
Manu had some chances inside and decided not to make contact and draw fouls. He instead throws up wild hooks that get blocked away = fast break dallas.
Lmao at Barkley saying the mavs don't always play like this and the spurs do. He has a new excuse everytime the mavs play well. Actually the mavs were missing a lot of shots that they can make. Dirk was rushing and too pumped up that it hurt his offense.

Dirk needs to go for 24 minutes in the 2nd half. We can't have Van Horn in anymore. He's just too bad on either end of the court to have him in for more than 5 seconds. I wish we had Devin Harris, he is like TP and did well in the first game of the season against SA. Oh well let's hope we have a better second half.

I am more concerned about Manu's performance than Tim's. We can get through the West with Tim flying on damaged wings, but we need Manu to go super-saiyan. I hope he can do it again this year.
Almost better to be down at half since being tied or up would give the team a sense of false comfort. They way they played they certainly did not deserve the lead.
yeah i dont expect dirk to be nearly as quiet in the 2nd half as he was in the 1st. and man josh howard is a monster!
Yeah and they came back in the second half to shut down the raptors. Yeah those games happens to everyone. The Raptors exploded against the spurs as well. The mavs occassionally have letdowns but so do the spurs. At least the mavs play their best against the best. That's what counts.
