call both and check.
At 20 bucks, 3-4 hours is not a problem.
call both and check.
maybe harder to get though since it is a public park/gym.
But you're not sure if they're done remodeling.
Man, I don't know why we're hassling over a place. The time is the most important thing. Doesn't really matter where it is. Ward at 20/hour is not bad. Let's just stick with that, it looks like a nice gym.
We could always hoop outside for free in the ghetto
The same number 207-7275 will be able to tell you the availablity of both gyms. Just throwing you options for when you call, you can ask about more than one if one is taken.
Heh, I don't have a problem with that.
I doubt anybody would show up though.
Jcrod - Thanks. I'll definately call and find out tommorrow.
Ive played all over SA and some in NB, I just cant stand hoops with no nets. Chains are awesome.
That, and hoops that are double rim. I HATE playing on them.
You have to change your style of play completely.
We've had pickup ball at the outdoor courts at OP Schnabel Park on Braun Rd before.
Ive been playing over at Silvercreek off culebra and one rim is like 10.5 feet and it sucks but we usually play half.
Is that the ghetto?
So why not just play at an apartment complex?
I dont think so, go to Buckeye park for a more ghetto style.
or an elementary school I know several in the Culebera area that are decent.
Culebra area is kind of out there...
But generally speaking, that's not a bad idea. I know an elementary school at 1604 @ Blanco (about 10 minutes off the highway) that is decent too.
There are alot of outside courts we could just meet up at with no reserve or anything. So you are by Broadway and 410?
Well, very close to there.
Moving to the Stone Oak/1604 area beginning of next month.
So why not just meet up at an elementary school, around noon on any Sunday? all this other hassle.
Im down for whatever, what school?
we should have two times
one nights on a weekday and
one midday on a weekend to accomodate everyone.
I'll talk to my cousin about the 1604/Blanco elementary.
But it doesn't really matter. Just a quite outdoor place, with decent rims. Oh I know this one place....wait, it's a Church. =/ It's perfet though, just not on a Sunday around Noon time (I'm guessing).
It's right at 410 and Nacadoches, a little bit inside the loop. By Mac High School sort of. You just hop over the 4 foot fence (its usually unlocked) and walk out back, there's a full court with decent rims and it's pretty shaded with trees as well.
Can't please everybody.
Either way people will show we played at Trinity from 11p-2am on Thursdays and had enough to run full.
No. It's suburbia.
