Damnit, I should have started my listening for the sole purpose of being annoyed a day earlier then I planned then.
Someone called in to the "Topic Wheel" segment of Vexler's show today and was clowning on Chancellor and Parker getting run off of 760. The producer Eric Gray in particular got a kick out of it, and you could tell from his derisive laughter that their transfer to WOAI was not a "promotion."
I still get a kick out of the "promotion" spin Lundy and his crew are trying to sell the listeners.

Alright fellas, I have to drive from Corpus to Austin this afternoon and will be leaving at around 3:30. I'm going to do my best to listen to those two asshats so that I have something to about in this thread. Wish me luck.
Stay strong brother.
I usually listen to SNR over the internet, but I'm gonna listen to the assmunches and endure the torture with you this week. Maybe Vexler has figured out that Rutgers, WV, and Louisville are all in the same conference by now.
i doubt it.
Ugh, these guys are HORRIBLE! I could only tune in for a few minutes, but that was long enough to hear their "Short and Hairy" College Top 10 countdown, wherein Vexler bemoaned Ohio State's close game "with Ball State." He went on and on about "Ball State" nearly coming back from a 17-0 deficit, and then noted that Michigan also played a close game. He failed to mention who Michigan's opponent was, but decried Michigan's "lack of offense." Hey dumbass, Michigan is the one that played Ball State, and they put up 34 points, hardly a lack of offense. Walter the Lizard and Eric Gray failed to correct The Midget, most likely because they were just as clueless.
Seriously, if these guys are going to hold themselves out as experts, why can't they get some basic facts straight? Even Stacie the Sports Chick knows West Virginia and Rutgers are in the same conference, and that Ohio State played Illinois while Michigan played Ball State last weekend. I shudder at the thought of how many mistakes these guys must make over the course of an entire 3-hour show. No wonder they use filler like the Topic Wheel and Family Feud...it helps mask their complete incompetence when it comes to fundamental sports knowledge.
Walter's decent in my opinion.
He brings a certain stereotype to the table. The problem is, with an idiot like that you need a sensible knowledgable guy to balance the table. Someone like, Al Michaels. Problem is he has someone like...Vexler and Screech from Saved by the Bell.
I tried to listen, I tuned in for about five minutes and just hearing their voices forced me to tune out.
I'll do better today. However, if I had heard the Ball State stuff, I would have tuned out just as quickly.
agreed. I could understand if they got the name wrong on some obscure trivia fact but how hard is it to read the paper and see who played who? Too many mistakes in that show constantly. One of the few things I do NOT miss about SA.Seriously, if these guys are going to hold themselves out as experts, why can't they get some basic facts straight? I feel you on this 100%... and I want the good people of SpursTalk to know that I am working as hard as I can in school to get my degree, take those bafoon's jobs, and save us all.... maybe we could start a pe ion to get me there sooner??? I promise you won't be disappointed when the day comes San Antonio
You don't need a degree to be good on the radio...you need to be talented and knowledgable. If you can be that....let's get you on there now!![]()
I'm ready, believe me....... I'm young, but my mind is grown. My love and knowledge for sports speaks to all generations.
Start the pe ion.
Small time radio is not the ultimate goal tho. I'm goin for the big time radio, tv, or print, haha, so I gotta stay in school.

for sure! even though i am not in San Antonio anymore, or Texas for that matter, i still want those losers gone. i will still try and get these dolts fired from 1800+ miles away.
Then how did Walter Pasacrita get the job?![]()
...great question. but a better one is, "how did pasacrita, vexler, parker, and chance get and hold their current jobs?"
Pasacrita, Freinds with Andrew Ashwood
vexler, Was promised the job since 1996 and was going to sue.
parker, Has done coke with the boss and is untouchable
chance WOAI TV tells Nate Lundy what to do.
...hey, when you're right you're right.
You notice none of the reasons were from having talent![]()
of course....how could they be?
Pasacrita was busting tables at the Marriott downtown before getting a break at the station, then he went and did his internship. After that, he was a fixture on the then STSA with Jay Howard and Laura Green. He's just very, VERY lucky.
a little sucking goes a long way. Then how did Walter Pasacrita get the job?
OK, so I never really listen to the radio that much anymore but is that Chance guy the same that went to Lee high school & does a ty job of unbiased sports on WOAI?
Talk about closet case, the guy looks like he wants to tongue TO clean after everytime he speaks of him.
The same for the ags, when ever Lame Dave Chancellor speaks of the ags he has this look in his eye like he wants to blow the entire Corps, football team, basketball team, etc...
