I signed up for the level 3 rewards, since I was already over 10000. You sign up, increase your gamerscore by 1500 before April 15. You have a slim chance now to get any of the better prizes, because of the people who are taking advantage of the easy achievment games, but you might get a free Live game and/or gamer pic. Street Homecourt and Crackdown are the games that basically jumped up my gamerscore quite a bit.
Now that I played through a few levels of Street: It's ok. It's a little repetative, but then again its a basketball game. I just find playing through game after game on 2k7 is a more fun than doing the same stuff over and over in these games. At least with a simulation, you factor in fatigue, foul trouble, injuries, etc. Eh.
Online is a little crappy with all the cheating and quitters, but if you find some good friends and leagues, it's all good.
I have Fear, but have yet to play enough to get through the first level. All these games coming out and not enough time to play them. Good thing my son loves playing games with me or I'd NEVER get to play.
I havent run into any cheaters but dozens of quitters, I played this guy a few days ago (Laker fan) and so his pause time runs out going into the 4th and instead of taking the win I figured what the its a close game and it wouldnt be fair to do it that way, so I give him another chance and end up blowing him out by 16, so in turn he gives me negative feedback. This after I gave him a positive, some people are just s on that game like the one guy I was up 3 on with 10 seconds left so he keeps pausing the game on me when im trying to shoot ft's
Thats why Live sucks sometimes, you just never know who's a good sport. That's why I always add the good sports to my friends list, because most of the time, their friends are good sports and so on. Halo was horrible because of the racists and little kids. Gears just basically adopted that whole crowd, so I only play with people I know. I've met a few good guys on 2k7, who played "real" basketball, not that drive to the whole with Kobe the whole game or shoot 3's the whole game with Nash. Plays were set, open shots were taken, etc.
I never played Halo so i cant say but the people ive played gears with online really have been pretty cool, but i usually play like 12-3 in the morning or when i get home from work at like 3 in the morning. Mostly adults on at that time and i havent had problems with racism or anything, but as far as 2k7 i was on a 17 game winning streak until i played the goddamn SONICS...Ray Allen on every play with a 3 or a dunk from the free throw line, was ridiculous

Crackdown is the .....playing this game like mad lately. The most fun I had with a game in years....well next to Oblivion....
Crackdown should just be called Crack, I can stay up hours not knowing how much time has passed. I'm a few(3?) bosses from complete. Hopefully there's still stuff to do after it's beat.
