Manu is having a great game so far. 11 points, 3 rebs, 3 assists in just 13 minutes.
Sam Smith says "the officials have been told to look for it."

shooting yes
It'd be nice if they called one correctly at some point. Seriously, it's like they are just making calls to disrupt the game. They aren't calling some of the harder fouls, but they are calling a ton of ticky tack stuff.
Part of the deal with Barry was the back spasms/injury interfering with his playing time at the end coinciding with Finley being on fire. Barry has contributed in the other games, coming up with steals or a good shot to help out. He didn't blow anything (apart from the ty 3 second call) in this one and had that nice steal. Lay off him.
Now the officials just need to be told what it is. It's the NBA version of a snipe hunt out there.
Yeah, Manu's started off strong. Tim is having a hard time finishing...but yeah Tony's doing alright a few jumpers that clanked, but so far pretty good. We also started rebounding better with Horry and our Defense tightening up. Let's hope this is just a precursor to a Manu eruption in the second half. So that the Nuggos can boo him even louder for game 4.
Watching Denver on defense, they have decided to leave Bowen alone out on the wing if he wants to sit there. They don't think he will beat them from there.
Meanwhile, his 'defender' is all the way over by the paint, helping to block the driving lanes against Manu and Tony. That's why we're taking so many jumpers and not many drives for layups.
We'll have to shoot a high percentage on those jumpers if they continue that defense.
ticky tacky fouls....welcome to the NBA.
Fun game every1 having a good time here.....Timmy playin awesome Dfense so far
it's about time Manu threw down a dunk...he needed that.
Manu has had a hard time getting open all series long, the Nuggets defenders cover him and follow him all the way out putting every effort to avoid him from receiving the ball, and it works pretty well.
pretty good reffing job so far nothin to bad to complain about...not worried about the refs more on our Dfensive boards we would be up 10 if it wasnt 4 second chance pts
well I wouldn't have minded if it was less lopsided.
But when the Nuggets missed a lot of those freebies, I laughed. "Ball don't lie."
Yeah it's amazing. Makes you wonder what they teach in NBA school.
"Now make sure you don't call obvious shoves or cracks to the head but if you see Dirk's pinky get touched on his way to the basket make sure you call a flagrant." in assholes
I mind the jumpers less if they are making them - let's hope tjey continue to or at least choose their shots well. I don't mind some of the offensive rebounds they've gotten either.
that's a sick avatar dude
do you prefer Godfather 1 or 2?
The 2006 Playoffs were home of the ticky tacky fouls. If it weren't for San Antonio, I wouldn't watch the NBA at all.
They don't call every game like this.
Which Spur Are Yall Most Proud Of So Far?
With the phantom three second violations and the illegal screen calls, I thought we were back in the Olympics.
I'm not basing it on this game at all, I don't mind the reffing tonight. I'm basing my opinion over a long period of time, and the NBA calls a lot of bull that has no effect on the shooter.
Manu is playing most agressively right now
Inspector Gadget!![]()
Actually i dont mind the way this game is being called besides the obvious flavor or the week defensive 3 seconds.
Love Tim's D - Manu is doing well - Bowen is doing well. Nice play by Finley. Horry's been ok on D.
