Barbosa better have an injured elbow because I will only accept surgery as an excuse for that choke job.
No, I don't think the suspensions cost us the series. Actually in game five we had a good chance to win but with the way our coach overworks our starters it wasn't going to happen. If he would just incorporate some of the guys off the bench during the regular season they might be able to play in the playoffs for at least a few minutes to give our starters a blow. Also it would help if Diaw would have shown up and it did not help that Barbosa had an injured elbow that needed surgery after the playoffs. I had no idea he was injured since they did not reveal that to the public. I wondered why he was wearing a sleeve on his elbow and why his shot was looking horrible. Apparently he had a tear in the elbow. How he gutted it out is amazing to me. Yes the Spurs are a bad matchup for us but I don't think we were that far off from winning. I think of all the teams the Spurs played in the playoffs we gave them the best effort by any of those teams.
I don't remember why Stackhouse was suspended, could you refresh my memory? It is hard to get to the finals and lose, I know, the Suns have been there twice and it broke my heart both times in the way they lost. Oh well, next year will be here before we know it. Can't wait!

Yeah, Ron I thought he was choking big time until I read that he had a tear in his elbow and really should not have been playing.
Game Four was a blowout, Shaq was on a breakaway and about to dunk and the crowd would've erupted. One of the things Avery has instilled is no uncontested layups or dunks. When you're trying to stop a guy that is 7'2, 350 lbs from dunking, it's going to take a lot of force. Stack made a play going for the ball but he raked Shaq's face. Definitely a flagrant one, he got his face instead of the ball, but he was trying to make a play. Stu Jackson upgraded it to a Flagrant Two for reasons that defy common sense, and Stack had to sit out Game 5, where we lost in overtime by one point, in a game where Wade shot 25 free throws, and was bailed out at the very end of the game on a bull call by Salvatore. Watch some Spurs or Heat fans post a Getty image with Devin Harris with his hand on Wade's wrist, but the foul was on Dirk and the contact from Harris came after the play.
So the Stackhouse suspension, the Wade parade to the free-throw line, and the final bailout call were all outrageous, but hey, there were three other games in that series that can't be blamed on anybody but the Dallas Mavericks.
I wish the leave the bench rule had a clause for rolling the penalty over into the regular season if it occurs in a playoff game, but there are three other Spurs wins that can't be pinned on David Stern or dirty cheap shots.
Yeah, I know it sucks when the refs aren't consistent on calling flagrants, especially in the playoffs when everything is on the line.
Oh, in regards to your last paragraph, I wouldn't count on Stern changing anything in regards to this rule.

"Mommy, the Spurs aren't letting the Sons score 110 points a game! It isnt fair! Mommy, David Stern made the Sons lose! It aint fair! Wah Wah Wah!"

"Mommy! We're America's team. We're more entertaining than the Spurs. Why did David Stern hand the series to the Spurs? It's not fair!!!"
And by "gone for an hour," that means "logged in as yourcheatinheart."
Youre a ing idiot.
No kidding. What the was Duncan thinking?
I hope Cuban doesn't ever sell the Mavs. Regardless of how the Suns do, watching his face after they choke is one of the highlights of the NBA season.
All that money and blogging and crying was for nothing!![]()
Neither do I. And I hope Robert Sarver never sells the Sons. Unlike Sarver, Cuban is actually financially committed to winning a le, and sooner or later, we'll get it right. We're not selling off our draft picks for cash.I hope Cuban doesn't ever sell the Mavs.
Enjoy your annual second-round exit. We'll bounce back.Regardless of how the Suns do
How's Finley doing? Earning that paycheck?
Considering we've gone farther without him than we did with him, I don't really care. His money comes off the books next year. Is Suns fan really criticizing another team's cap situation?![]()
And I was rooting for the Spurs after we got knocked out, he's my all-time favorite Mav.
You really should do something about that bitterness. Your team would've lost to San Antonio no matter what.

Apparently he was thinking just fine since he didn't get suspended, nor should he have been.
Good lord.....they will STILL be paying Finley next year?!
I hate you too
What?!!!
I thought you were my biggest fan. You follow me around from thread to thread just to read my stuff!
I was under the impression you were about to change your name to da_suns_fan's fan.
I thought about it, but why would I follow a loser that follows losers (suns), thanks but no thanks. I don't follow you, your ass is all over this board!!
Yeah, we won't be paying luxury tax on it. One-time amnesty provision. Phoenix, on the other hand, is financially crippled:

Someone put this dumbass on All-Ignore. He is by far the most pathetic excuse for a member on this board, and that's saying something. Any troll > da_suns_fan.
