Only in CD's twisted logic.
I have already answered.
Not sure why, because those guys are not posting in this thread right now.I am bashing Argentinians who are talking out of both sides of their asses,
and now I'm bashing you because you're being a pussy and not answering a simple question.
I already did. The answer is: I don't know. And neither do you nor the Argie posters you are bashing. As I said (and you missed), I saw Scola playing with passion, trying to win. Same applies to the entire NT team. But it is also a fact that they were already qualified andf the real Championship starts tomorrow.
Stop insulting me!I have simply not been convinced Scola will be a solid NBA player, and since many Argies who have more balls than you said yesterday's game was meaningless, I'm still not convinced.![]()
Only in CD's twisted logic.
Anyone who still has their panties in a bunch over the Scola trade was never a true Spur fan to begin with. The Spurs front office is the best in the league, period. I've said this before, if the Mavs had the Spurs front office we would have about 2-3 championships by now. Look at what we've gone through. Letting a 2 time MVP walk for nothing in return, Dampier's contract, paying Finley to play for a contender, Shawn Bradley's contract, the Tariq Abdul Wahad fiasco, etc.
If your real allegiance is with Argentinian players, not the Spurs, then just quit ing and go watch the Rockets, it's that simple.
I'm willing to bet that Scola is nothing more than a role player in the league. I seriously doubt he makes any all-star games. If he does THEN, and only then, will you have a legit reason to complain.
We agree. Everything about the future is a "might".
Don't worry, you can live on. Some people will eventually like you.
You can't tell me whether this game had any meaning to Argentina, but you say they were trying to win.
Congratulations, you have now joined the ranks of the Argies talking out of both sides of their asses.
there's no logic.
Scola is a prospect period. The Spurs gave him a way for a second round pick. Unless the Spurs fire RC, look for that 2nd pick to be another Marcus Williams.
Or Manu?
please tell me what they've done in the draft the past 5 years to deserve that distinction. The Spurs front office is the best in the league
Or Scola![]()
Manu was a long freakin time ago and we don't have to give away good prospects to get 2nd round picks.
Championships are won and lost in the last positions of the draft.
SO it has to be in the draft to make a difference? Finley, Horry, Barry, Oberto, none of these guys have made a difference right?
again, did we trade away a top prospect like Manu or Tiago to get that pick?
Your lack of logic is funny.
Top prospect?
What do you think Scola is going to do in this league?
Give me some stats.
The draft brings Tim, Tony and Manu!
And Beno and Carawell and Leon Smith!
And just think, when the US and Argentina play for the Gold...we get to do this all agan!
its ok, come November, most of us will be on the same side again rooting for the Spurs.![]()
Top prospects can bomb in the league. Out of the top 10 guys drafted in the league I bet some will bomb, but they are still top prospects.
That's all you can say for certain, unless you're drafting Tim Duncan.
what's your point? More trolling?
And free agancy brings Horry, Berrty, Finley, and barry, so what?
How could any Spur fan coming off a le, and 3 in 5, doubt the Spurs fo?
Andat top prospect
Actually, Leon Smith was chosen for Dallas then traded there. And Beno and Carawell and Leon Smith!
Let me rephrase your question intelligently. What do I think he has the POTENTIAL to do? I think he has potential to be a 12 and 6 clutchy type of guy.
If you can't see the value of the big 3 over role players and then that's on you.
Spurs can always find veteran role players, but finding stud Championship players will only be available in the draft for the Spurs.
Exactly.
