This thread is great. My Great Grandfather only had one arm, he used a untensil that was like a spork with a serrated edge on one side. He died before I was born, before I could ask him how he cut the meat without another arm/utensil. He would be the one to ask I would guess, too bad. Pistons<Spurs is the man. Give him a Spork!!!

I have an entire novel to read, a midterm to study for, and a 2000 word paper to write, but once I got past page one of this thread, I couldn't stop until I was caught up.

I too have ignorantly disregarded this thread for far too long...but boy am I glad I discovered its many joys.

This thread can be split up into distinct phases. The first was the "WTF" phase, where we were trying to figure out what the this troll was trying to say. This was a very short, but entertaining phase as we quickly realized that yes, this person actually called our team a utensil that is a combination of a spoon and a fork.

The second phase was us actually discussing sporks and extolling their many great uses and forms. We even got into the many different related utensils in the same family of utensils that the beloved spork is a part of (e.g. knork/k-nork, forkchops). I haven't decided whether or not this is the funniest part of the thread.

The last phase was when we really got rolling. We brilliantly incorporated our love for this awesome utensil with our intense love for our awesome Spurs, aka Sporks. This phase just confirmed over and over that ST-ers are, simply put, a community of geniuses.

This is a decent essay, but it lacks a true thesis statement and concluding paragraph. Keep working on it and resubmit for a better grade.
