Today this Greek Island with its 2000 years history is a fascinating mix of beaches, nature and testimonials. Not far away we found modern boutiques, bars and cafes which invite us to pass away the time and take a stroll.
The formidable city walls from the 15th Century are wonderful; you can walk as we did it, along part of them to enjoy a wonderful view of the old town. The Turkish quarter with its oriental mosques, is also worth seeing.
