There's always Enes Kanter. Even if he plays center, it's not like he'll play much center on defense.

No ing way man, I'd rather find out later and then have a great trade chip in Aldridge.
Meh..while Aldridge is overrated and I've never been a fan of his game, it's still a no-brainer to take a talent like that on your team, especially considering Parker is probably finished as a high-level scorer..Spurs need weapons, and you don't pass up a top 20 guy..
More importantly, at this point, the alternatives are scarce..
Kanter is terrible. Don't want that crap.
Why do you keep repeating that. Knicks didn't agree to terms with him.
pop in the next meeting
I love that the local media is overblowing Aldridge's interest in their ty team, and the team is now dumping salary like it means something. This offseason is getting better and better.
Words are blurring together at this point given the refresh rate in this thread
now he's meeting Riley for dinner tonight.
Where's that fat chick commenting on how it's bad form to embarrass a great franchise?
I like what he could bring to the team, but I'm still starting to wish Pop would call his agent and say Off! If he's this much of a diva before coming here, he's not going to get better once he gets here.

LaMarcus Aldridge's meeting with Miami tonight will be a dinner with Pat Riley, sources say
SOunds like maybe we should have traded diaw and someone else instead of Splitter.
That's good to hear. I thought I saw Stein report it is a done deal.
Well, at least he's taking some heat from people beyond the interested teams.
this guy has been exposed as a cowardly lion
Riley's middle finger to Wade.
If that's true, he's looking for reasons to convince himself to go to a big market. I guess he had enough time to think about just how much all the endorsements are worth. "Yeh that family 's important to me. But for that much money I can buy a new family."
So, should we put a flyer out on Sideshow Bob, since he didn't actually agree to terms with the Knicks?
You can't be serious. This guy gonna meet with the Seattle Supersonics too?
