Big story in the all the news:
Russian financial system on the verge of collapse.
Russia has $160BN in foreign reserves that it was counting on to be able to tap and weather what they thought were going to be mild-ass sanctions.
But a lot of those reserves are now out of reach, with the removal from SWIFT and other countries freezing assets.
We are seeing an old-fashioned bank run as regular Russians are trying to convert their rubles to dollars. crypto, just haul in a few thousand dollars US into russia and see what you can snap up.
The West has stepped up, with weapons and cash, and hit Russia's economy with some financial nukes.
, there are even some countries that are ex-warsaw pact that are saying they are going to just donate fighter jets.
The costs to Russia of this miscalculation have gone way beyond what Putler was expecting.
