In A Lonely Place (1950)
One of Bogie's best roles + Sam Fuller
10/10
I'm in this camp as well. At first watch, I enjoyed PF and RD more. But to me, Jackie Brown is the most re watchable of those three. Although part of that might be that I've watched those other two more.

big tarantino fan... but jackie brown just comes off as boring and stale to me. and slow.
Locke 7/10
Saw it on Netflix. who would have thought a movie that takes place on a car would be entertaining and actually worthwhile.
It stars Tom Hardy. The guy can make anything work.
Mission Impossible was really really good. Franchise isn’t losing steam, it’s getting better.
8.5/10
Randomly saw How it ends on Netflix. What a terrible movie. Kept waiting for it to get better and it kept getting worse
1/10. gave it a 1 because i actually finished the movie.
'Game Night'
From a script writing p.o.v. I think this was simple but untapped and therefore had more potential. I liked it because of some of the acting; but it was otherwise not that good. Still a must watch for any Jason Bateman fans though, tbh.
It's funny how the clubs are all lounges back before all the sonic sound systems and what not.
Baby Driver - 5/10. Made 10 years too late
Infinity War
9/10
Mission Impossible 8/10 - really good and really fun. The perfect amount of action movie cheesiness as well. Only quibble is that the expository dialogue reached Christopher Nolan levels at times. The fact that you can see it’s Tom Cruise actually doing this , and not stunt doubles, makes a huge difference. I do fear that it’s going to start wading way deeper into Fast & Furious level ridiculousness as they try to top the previous films. This one hit right at the perfect level of insane stunts, where you bought in 100%, but it never got eye-roll inducing absurd.
Eighth Grade was pretty good.
Leave No Trace: 8/10
Really good acting by the leads, a sad portrayal of depression and mental illness that never does the expected Hollywood thing.
Super Troopers 2
9/10
Basically great if you like the first Super Troopers.
Compared to what he did before?
It took him awhile to become an action director.
Blindspotting 90/93 on Tomatoes.
You s got a take on this?

Go take a bath loser! Cuz you stink!!!
Strange. I don't need a bath but I have been passing gas all afternoon and into the evening.
I have excellent stalker control people, I will tell them to be gentle with you.
Finally saw the original Last House on the Left
4/10
Just baffling; didn't live up to all of the things that i've heard about it plus it was a too light in parts to be an actual horror movie and the acting made parts that were supposed to be serious seem silly.
Not to mention some laughable plot holes. The remake is much much better.
Superfly (original)
4/10
Original movie doesn't really have a plot, even for Blaxploitation, it's a little silly. Its a 90 minute movie with only about 30 minutes of essential scenes.
That soundtrack though.
Its almost distracting how good it is![]()
have to check out the actual record now.
u notice todays movies doesnt have any good motivation songs
Eighth Grade is the scariest movie I've seen this year.
9/10
I’m a big fan of bo burnham, but the trailer looked so... flat.
Really that good?
